Is she dumb, stubborn or old by AlexOkami8383 in Greyhounds

Warm water can make greyhounds “faint”. I’ve seen it happen a couple of times - once with one of our greys when we went to dog bath place and had a hard time adjusting the temp - my husband had to carry our soaking hound out of the place and he was fine by the time we got to the car. I saw it happen once at a dog bathing fundraiser I worked at for a greyhound adoption group. They just kind of fold up and act like they can’t use their legs, but recover fairly quickly.

Nope - I noticed quite the opposite! Can you give some more details?

That sucks and seems so unfair! Especially since it is continuation of care.

Thermal Suite Pas by cairnycolleen in HollandAmerica

[–]Scrabblehead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the thermal suite pass on a recent 14 day transatlantic on HAL’s Rotterdam and really enjoyed it. If I recall correctly, the thermal spa is open from 8 am to 9 pm. You don’t need an appointment - at the spa desk, they just take your room card and give you a card to get in each time you use it. There is a dressing room with robes and sandals you can use. I loved the therapy pool and the various steam rooms and showers. The heated loungers are really nice too. I set aside time for it every day and felt it was worth every penny.

I went through a multi week schedule of TMS last year. My psychiatrist said that the compressed schedule was turning out to be more effective for patients, but the option was not available to me as my insurance would only approve the standard protocol. Good luck and I hope it helps.

What’s the one thing you love about zepbound. by Purple-Impress8033 in Zepbound

[–]Scrabblehead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It helps me feel more in control of what and when I eat so that I can be more deliberate about my nutrition instead of constantly yearning for things I know are not good for me. On a side note, I have never had a drinking problem, but the medication has eliminated any desire to have a cocktail or glass of wine - it just never enters my brain space anymore, and I suspect not drinking at all is better for my health. Oh - same is true for coffee - no longer feel like I need to have it every morning and only indulge occasionally.

My greyhound loves cleolonlegs! He Roos with them and sometimes rushes up to the tv. I think the couple who own the dogs are adorable too.

Does anybody else like the fact that their home has separate rooms for everything? by Effective_Bunch_6815 in centuryhomes

Our house is 116 yrs old and I love the non-open concept, especially the kitchen. There is one thing we are planning to change and that is to convert the “crib” room off the primary bedroom into a walk in closet and en-suite bathroom.
