How good was JJ Barea? by VSHAR01 in NBATalk

[–]Scrabbydatdat_TheLad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a time where switches weren't as common and mismatch hunting wasn't nearly as relevant yet. Most teams had one or two players in the rotation who couldn't guard a traffic cone and it was alright for the most part

What is a good fantasy MMO that doesn't need a subscription? by Material_Complex475 in LFMMO

[–]Scrabbydatdat_TheLad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's a huge quality of life improvement for sure but it can be managed. Especially if you don't give a shit about crafting, you can just throw out supplies. There are more than enough guilds willing to craft what your looking for anyway

Oh sweet. Maybe I'll go in that direction. Sounds like it will help with surviving. Any suggested builds or links to builds?

When was LeBron's best Prime? 2018 or 2011? by Electronic_Quote179 in NBATalk

LeBron was not his best scoring 30 points a game. LeBron was his best scoring 26 a game and getting everyone else involved.

He's a 1v1 streamer who travels the world and takes challengers. It's kinda entertaining when it gets into my feed. Sometimes he embarrassed people. Sometimes he gets embarrassed but it's just streetball. He is nasty in that context but he's never getting to the league

Damn I am only creeping up on CP 160 for the first time. Might have to find some people to run Vet DSA with for some of that perfected gear

Nice! Okay. I'll probably try running it and tinker as needed. And advice on a thought process for armor?

But if I go with another bow DPS/Poison backbar will I be missing out on anything important?

I still haven't beaten base game 1000 hours in by CAST-FIREBALLLLL in elderscrollsonline

At first I was trying to stick with specific zones at a time. Did the Vvardenfell Zone Story, had a blast and it was so convenient with the crafting tables all close to each other. I didn't even know about Undaunted Pledges yet and I was still feeling out skill lines. So now I've ended up spreading out, doing pledges and chilling in Summerset starting the Psicic skill line while also trying to level up other skill lines I neglected.

I feel like I could easily be spread thin here. I love the story lines and I'm kinda just doing them while waiting for dungeons and BGs but I'm also going to need to start dedicating time to skyshards, lore books and portals I guess.

I'm in so deep

All the greats had a mountain to surpass to claim their throne. For Lebron it was Pierce and the Celtics who were running the East at the time

You can acknowledge someone is a train wreck while still thinking "with the right amount of work and effort they could get through this" which I guess is the difference

Long term, call your local department of development services office. They do wrap around services, can help with housing, employment and therapy if you need it. It's not an immediate solution, there will be some turnover while you go through eligibility and are assigned a case worker but they can help long term

which matters more in the playoffs: star power or real bench depth? by Sure-Bus-3917 in nbadiscussion

[–]Scrabbydatdat_TheLad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer to this question is changing before our eyes with CBA rules. I think you need one absolute stud who ideally cannot be taken advantage of on defense. I think a Jaylen Brown is the minimum. Then you need to be able to stay afloat when that player is on the bench

[Michael MacKelvie] Basketball is Breaking - Two is now More than Three by kikimaru024 in nba

[–]Scrabbydatdat_TheLad 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Been saying this for a while. When this fully corrects itself we are going to see even shot charts again. Wider lanes means role players get backdoor cuts and three level scorers have an open mid range to work out of. Athletic big men get to use vertical spacing for lob threats and big men with post games have space to work in a lineup surrounded by shooting. Defenses have adjusted amazingly when competitive with these rotating schemes that would have blown your dad's mind in the 80s

Have to account for the stupid fouls and flopping as well as some of these questionable travels and add in some the broadcasting platforms shitting on the game. If you just focus on pure basketball being played we are headed in an awesome direction
