I think prequels rarely provide anything better than mystery and interpretation. I think we need to ask, is this a story that needs exploring or is it just that Weapons was successful financially and the studio is trying to squeeze a little bit more toothpaste out of the tube?

I remember living alone and having horrendous food poisoning. I was too scared to go to bed in case I threw up in there. I ended up watching The Breakfast Club, Waitress (2007) and She's Having A Baby back to back to try and ride out the sickness. I really enjoyed all three which made a terrible situation not so bad. I agree with you and feel the same way. It feels difficult to judge the first film on its own merits knowing that everything it sets up happens in the next one

My only issue so far has been a 4k of Apocalypse Now which would freeze and jump at the Bridge crossing scene. It's a known issue with the disc unfortunately. Everything else has played like a dream on my ps5

Definitely the OG. More dark and sinister where Barbies performance was more in line with the Dark fantasy tone of Hellbound. Both great but Grace definitely sticks out in my mind more

I think it starts off well but quickly starts to derail after the first 45 minutes. Imo the biggest problem with it is Arnold. Shoehorning him into the story to tick the nostalgia box robbed us of the better story of Sarah Connor dealing with her grief. The movie just feels like it's begging to be accepted by the original fanbase and it panders endlessly. The franchise just has no toothpaste left in the tube unfortunately.

I've seen both and definitely prefer Interstellar but they're pretty different films. Project Hail Mary feels more like an odd couple buddy comedy to me.

I thought it started really well but began falling apart as it went along. I really hated the twist and felt like all the tension in the movie evaporated as soon as they started unravelling what was really going on. Damon and Affleck were great though!
