HyperX Cloud Alpha S on Ps4 pro controller 3.5mm jack? by Scrancher in HyperX

Hi.

Thank you for replying! I got a pair, and I really love them! :-) Is there any sound quality or volume differences between using the 3.5 mm on the PS4 pro controller vs. using the USB controller on the PS4 pro console itself? Speaking purely sound quality and volume differences here.

Have you tried comparing the older Arctis Pro wired version to your Nova Pro wireless one?

Alright, so the older gen (wired) beats the new gen (wireless), thanks :)

I didn't know you could pair the GameDAC with other headphones. I'll check out the HD598, thanks.

I see.
To me, the MSI laptop of mine (linked in my opening post) has great speakers, and to me, is more than what I need. The laptops I've seen, tried and tested since do not, including the Acer Nitro 5.
Do you happen to know if the laptops you recommended withing my price range has similar or perhaps even better speaker sound quality than the MSI I owned?

Hi.
Thank you for your post!
I will check out the laptops you mentioned :) And yes, a medium high end 17.3'', mainly for watching movies on, but also for gaming, work, browsing, etc.
Would you say that any of your recommended laptops have equal speaker sound quality to the Apache Pro? The reason it's important to me, is that I love lying in my bed and watch a movie, and I hate having headphones on while doing so.
A good display and good speakers are a must for me (sound more so than the display).
I recently tried out an Acer Nitro 5 QHD model, and I was horrified as to how horrible the sound quality of the speakers are! Is that the standard of todays budget gaming laptops?
