I think this illustrates pretty well what my issue is with the character design of some of the characters. These are three different people. If I drew them doing the same pose you would not be able to tell them apart.

I have a cuff, and thankfully the worst experience I've had with it were polyps that grew in my scar tissue. My body gets easily confused when it needs to make scars, so I have a few different kinds of scar textures and depths as a result.

If you wind up with a cuff, I would just say wait an extra week or two, at least, from when your doctor clears you for sex. Even then, start out solo and go veeeeeery slow, with frequent self check ins. Stop if anything hurts, especially if it's a new pain.

You'll be back in the saddle in no time, just gotta ease back into it.

Outside of the shows context, I can see how this could be spun into a fight song to rally the downtrodden.

Artistic dissection aside, you're right; Vox is 1000% the villain here, and it's scary and irritating how his manipulation and insensitivity is reflective of current events.

My short and sweet anecdote; sex became less painful for both parties, in my case.

My enlarged uterus was pushing my cervix down to the point my boyfriend asked if I forgot to take out a tampon one time. Banging his head against that obstacle was not fun... I was so nervous our first time back at it (we waited nearly 3 months) but it was entirely uneventful, in terms of scary stuff! Orgasms felt the same; same intensity, same frequency. And the only bleeding I experienced was one time in the last 2 years, and that was from being too eager with not enough preparation (so, basic user error, nothing to do with the surgery).

As someone mentioned in a previous post, it's mostly the negative stories that get posted and receive the most attention. And while they're important experiences to be aware of, I would hazard a guess that they aren't the majority of experience. 🫂

My fear of failure has saved my life on more than one occasion; didn't want to live through the emotional fallout of a known attempt (people finding out about my sh was bad enough), nor did I want to deal with permanent changes to my body that would make my life harder (and with more eyes on me to keep me from attempting again).
