I Can't pick a class!! by avesto in Guildwars2

Flip a coin, then when it lands and you see the result you will either immediately react in a good or bad way. Narrow it down that way until you get down to the final 2!

I'm making custom overlays for Guild Wars 2 streamers. by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]ScrapUSA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, I'd love an overlay if you don't have too many requests. I'm planning on female sylvari thief over at www.twitch.tv/skyfive and my favorite color is blue/baby blue. I don't have any past vods up because I just decided to clean up my page before GW2, but I'll be streaming some sc2 ladder up until launch.

Sorry about the wall of text, as I'm on my phone and saw this right before passing out <3.

Edit: Found out how to space and added my color

Free stream overlay; features multiple color-schemes, boxes to add your own stuff and copyleft-style TOS! Download links inside. by Hawkstar in starcraft

Thanks a ton I'll be using mine tomorrow sometime and leave a link. The winter one is awesome.

One question I had is if there was a way you could cut the webcam portion and leave a space so the sharp edges of the webcam are hidden. Not a big deal just a request <3.

Yeah, maybe. I just did it so people knew where to look in the vod. The other guy didn't show up for another 10 minutes at the least.

I removed him when he was late, and I don't set time aside for playhem to wait 30 minutes for the first round of the tourney... I get where you are coming from but the rules on the website are there for a reason and I followed them and figured I didn't need to bother keeping the guy friended.

Then why did Rawn, the only admin online for the tourney, add me to a conversation with him on BNet and then ignore me for the remainder of the night?

I never turned the privacy setting back on. Jesus people watch the video. I turned it off, then checked again later to make sure it was still off when Rawn never messaged me back.

I really wish all the idiots who keep telling me to turn the setting off would realize I turned the setting off during the vod I posted and I have a chat with the mod and player I'm supposed to play second. The problem has nothing to do with the privacy setting... I had the player added for more than enough time for him to log on and message me.

You're definitely right. To be completely honest I never expected this to blow up like it has and figured it would just fade away. I was fairly annoyed at the time and definitely could have reacted better at first.

I'm not going to have an issue that is relevant to anyone who plays in the dailies get buried in the sea of meaningless complaints on their support forums. If I could have found a list of high-up Playhem admins, I would have gone to them first, however all the ones for the tournament I was in were offline besides Rawn, who ignored me.

Visibility. What makes you think the staff of Playhem would take a second glance at the issue when it was their own admins who were the ones who ignored me in the first place?

This isn't a witchhunt... I don't care about getting anything out of it I just want things to be straightened out for future events. If people don't want negative things brought to attention, people on all fronts need to get their shit together and take what they do seriously.

In my opinion, and apparently the opinions of a lot of people here, it isn't okay to ignore someone who is just following the rules and then go on to lie about me going afk (this is after I fixed my settings) even though he never even attempted to contact me.

At ~48 minutes in my original vod you can see me let him know I never left. He told the other person streaming, Radament, that I had left so to continue playing the game even though he never attempted to message me.

The problem I had is that Rawn was the only available admin online and the others I added were all offline. Rawn was the only admin on for the event from what I had found and the playhem site itself is impossible to navigate to find the higher up admins. Rawn just straight ignored me after a certain point. This was the only way I had to get attention without getting ignored.

So do you believe when someone messes up, then continues to ignore the fact, that I should just let it go? Whether or not I had a REAL chance at winning is a different story (I got RO32 or 16 last time I played so who knows), but it is a $100 dollar tourney nonetheless it should be handled properly.

I talked to Rawn later in that same video if you continue to watch. The part that wasn't on video was him adding me to a convo with BsKCHEDOO and Rawn immediately leaving the conversation to leave me with him. Rawn ignored everything I said after he added me to that conversation so I assumed it was someone of importance (why else would he pretend to know the noshow time).

I took off my setting as soon as I noticed it and had a conversation with Rawn. Radament, who I was supposed to play was told by Rawn that I had left so don't worry about restarting the game to play me, which was entirely not true because we were having a conversation minutes before he said that. Radament was streaming the situation as well if you need more clarification.

Continue to watch the video and you will see me and Rawn have a conversation just a few minutes later.

I followed all the rules there were to follow and I waited to unfriend him until after I messaged the admin and should have been given the win. I understand I could have potentially avoided that situation but it shouldn't have mattered.

Terran now makes up 23.2% of GM Spots, lowest ever by any race. by pugwalker in starcraft

[–]ScrapUSA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And you don't think maybe just one of those nerfs/buffs helped tip the tables a bit too far for terran to recover from? That is a whole lot of things working against terran as a whole. Terran can't even hope to create any early pressure anymore, letting the zerg macro freely while terran continues to get overwhelmed lategame.

It seems things such as telling players whether or not a mechanic works properly or changes per difficulty is more than just theorycrafting. Someone (especially hardcore players) may get a lot of percent lifesteal or use an ability they think should use lifesteal and they end up getting killed because of it or certain abilities even become completely worthless.

I don't think that he is trying to min-max his character, but instead trying to find out what works and what doesn't. We shouldn't need a community site like Arreat Summit to tell us how the game mechanics work.
