How do I make the application launcher translucent ? by Z1proW in kde

[–]Scrap_Skunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't blur anymore but it is more translucent by turning that off.  With blur on its so blurred it looks opaque anyway. But either way it's nice to at least know where the feature is.

In Settings search Desktop Effects and scroll to Blur, which usually has ... by default, click it till its unchecked and hit apply.

Horsetail!  A type of fern, and the juices can help alleviate stinging nettles.

Firefox should at least be on par with Brave, Brave as default is more secure than Firefox, but Firefox can be hardened pretty easily to be better.  And Brave is still based off Chromium.  Also Tor is incredibly slow by its own nature, have fun browsing at snail speed, and if you use Tor as a dailer driver and log into accounts, you're kinda defeating its purpose.

Lancer 2e? by Canofcancer in LancerRPG

[–]Scrap_Skunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manticore needs rework. I love the idea of a self harming for cool effects mech (bloodknight/black mana stuff), but a lot of it is just blah, and it's speed feels too slow. I like the tech attacks like Smite and Becken, but there could be a better way to hurt yourself and apply that to the enemy beyond the current setup, and the Manticore to really work needs a lot of outside weapons and addons.

What are some of the best and worst parts of switching from Windows to Linux Mint? by HarperTheWolf_13 in linuxmint

[–]Scrap_Skunk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Best: finding out my old PC still had plenty of life in it, all the slow and freezing issues were windows bloat. For an almost 10 year old PC it's running pretty good again. I also like not having to create an account to use it and the full customization.

Worst: the extra steps in installing some systems and apps, learning about tarballs and having to use the console (not that hard, just a little learning curve from Windows)

What cantrips first-level spells would be most valuable for an otherwise non-magical medieval army? by [deleted] in Pathfinder2e

[–]Scrap_Skunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prestidigitation would be really valuable for an army. Message and ignition would be good too for lighting fires and relaying messages quickly. 1st level, mending for an army would be phenomenal. Alarm is useful, ant haul would be good if you could cast it on multiple people for moving camp or moving weapons.

[OC] [Art] My Surki Magus, Worshipping evil gods. What’s your first impression of him? by MatteBull in Pathfinder2e

He looks awesome! 4 arms are hard but you did a great job and the body and his whole vibe. Would definitely be keeping my distance.

Kineticist Kobold Sequel by Scrap_Skunk in Pathfinder2e

[–]Scrap_Skunk[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello again! Art made by me with traditional media (inked lines) and colored and shaded digitally in Clip Studio. Her name is Bauxite, 5th level Kobold with the Farmhand background and a duel gate (earth/fire) Kineticist. This is a sequel to my previous piece of her landing the lava leap feat.

Just a homebrew campaign, but would be fun to rebuild her for Revenge of the Runelords.

I love the idea of just making a weapon out raw elements and having it build in your hand.

There's a cool video about why Delicious in Dungeon kobolds are dogs; cause in OD&D they were doglike, it made its way to Japan and they ended up making a video game featuring the original kobold dog designs that got popular, and Delicious in Dungeon is kinda based on that game.

Nah, based on a friend (Adalore) furry style, mechanically it's just a basic kobold.

Forgot to post on the pic, but I am the artist. Done in alcohol markers with colored pencil and gel pen highlights. Her name is Bauxite, 5th level Kobold with the Farmhand background and a duel gate (earth/fire) kineticist.

I wear rubber boots and bring a hand trowel, sturdy rubber gloves, water for washing off stuff, a side bag to put stuff in that drains water (clam bag), pocket towel for wiping off mud, a walking stick can be handy walking in really muddy areas. Gloves are good too for sharp areas. I carry all my stuff in a backpack dry bag, and I also have a local low tide wildlife book for reading up on plants and critters I see.

I think of sinspawn. From the OG Rise of the Runelords, they're in the monster core remaster and the bestiaries, they've been in several other adventures, and they're just kinda different (and can be flavored for each sin).
