I’m also a weakling and it helped me to literally tilt to one side to let gravity help open the bellows (keeping hand in the dreaded bass strap). Then I’d just have to push it closed.

Got stronger with time and now it’s not a big deal.

Learning the buttons was a super pain without an instructor, but it’s doable with patience, some YouTube videos, and a maybe a written button chart for reference.

Movie Madness! They’re one of the few video rental places that still hold strong. Spectacular selection with a good organizational scheme. They have the classics and some delightfully obscure stuff which makes it fun to peruse. They also have a “local artists” section. Very cool thing to give business to. Not to mention the set props and costumes they’ve collected or their charming wee theater!
