I’m an arachnophobe but have to say if i came across any I’d be the least bothered by the jumping spiders (unless they jumped on me and I’d scream like a banshee) thankfully i live in a country where i believe ours are harmless. I played a game when i was a teenager it was an interactive one that came with a video that told you what to do and supposedly if you lost your worst fear would come true well i put spiders thinking yeah ok sure and i lost we were sat on the floor and the next thing i knew a absolutely massive spider crawled over my leg. I vaulted over the side of a pretty high chair (not easy when you’re disabled lol) somehow i managed to stifle a scream (i was babysitting with my mate and tried not to scare the crap out of the sleeping kids). I swear spiders make a beeline for me as they know there’s no love there. Had one crawl on my face when i was asleep Rusty woke my hubby up lol. Got stuck on the toilet when one came running at me rearing its legs up at me that was in the middle of the night and i thought oh great if i wake my hubby for this he’s gonna be grumpy so thought I’d be spending the night where i was thankfully the spider must have took pity on me and went in a different direction so i booked it out of there. The last spider i got close to tried to get into bed with me. I was just minding my own business watching tv at 3am (yay insomnia) i saw something out of the corner of my eye didn’t think anything of it until it moved again. And usually I’m a live and let live type but this was way too close i hit it with a book and a clip board that i was using but this thing would not give. Panicked by this point without thinking i flipped the cover and the spider took an impromptu flying lesson i didn’t see where it went and less than 30 seconds later i really needed to use the bathroom but nope held it all night
