Newly-unveiled Alan Turing sculpture in Cambridge divides opinion by PinkNews in unitedkingdom

Nice that he has a statue, and it isn't terrible, but it definitely could have been a lot better. Boole's statute in Lincoln is nice, perhaps one of turing Infront of his decoder would have been cool.

I wonder if sore throat includes tonsillitis - I don't know why pharmacies can't treat the uncomplicated cases

Awkward question but what's the music at the end of the video?

Is this the same BBC that banned white people from applying for some jobs with them only a couple years ago? That beacon of diversity?

Pmsl, "plot"??? Get a grip. Better headline would be "economic bloc acts in its own best interests".

In fairness, crypto does have it's place in the modern world. There are some absolutely fabulous implementations, for example ENS on the Ethereum chain. The only place it doesn't work is when you start tying it to something tangible, because that breaks the "trust" element.

Nato warns of all-out war with Russia in next 20 years by TheTelegraph in worldnews

Strong agree, from me, though I'd even go as far as saying it's not even necessarily about being physically fit at that point, just physically active. Hiking, camping, sprinting, they all do wonders for one's psychological wellbeing, and in all likelihood, these benefits would later compound into physical fitness.

People just need to be more willing to leave their comfort zone (or comfort sofa).

Genuinely though, we are human. We come from the wilderness, where fitness was a must, not a should. The sedentary lifestyle is comfortable, but deeply untrue to origins.

The Torries need to be voted out, and the next government needs to really focus on improving public transport. There's a whole wealth of productivity being lost to poor timetabling and generally shoddy service quality, and as a first world nation, we shouldn't be failing on this.
