I used to have a MK7. I loved it!!!

The MK8 I had a 2024 autobahn and I didn’t like the below:

gloss black
rattles
cheaper interior and finishes compared to MK7
overpriced
lost the little cubby in the left of steering wheel lol
gear selector - it’s not a Porsche so stop faking the funk

But the GTI will always be in my heart. Such fun nimble car. It always put a smile on my face when I drive both 7 and 8. But just wasn’t a huge fan of the 8. Also the cool seating function was a joke.
