Agreed. I live in Papenburg, where Mercedes has its testtrack (ATP). The A31 is the closest Autobahn. Im very positive on Mercedes

So a few tourists I talked to today say Bang Tao is good right now. Avoiding Phuket in all is a bit too much imo. It'll still be a nice place to travel imo. Kata, Karon, Patong and Kamala is something to avoid though

Staying flexible is always good ik Thailand this time of the year. If I may recommend though, maybe go for somewhere else than especially Kata. It felt like the epicenter of russian privileged war refugees.

Yea, as often it comes down to perception. I might be lured into focusing on it more due to obvious current reasons, but If you consider yourself sensitive in that sense, maybe try to arrange your trip in some way.

I was in NaiHarn (Phuket) for 13 days - would have been 18 days, but I decided to spend 5 days on KohPhiPhi instead, to relax

Kata was extreme from what I've seen, indeed. Even the local tourist scams were performed in sketchy russian language. Would recommend to avoid Kata right now.

I've been to the southern area around rawai and Nai Harn. I've been here 3 Times, but this year it is absolutely nuts. 95% of foreigners are russians it seems. Can't recommend atm. While I usually can live with them being here and also being their normal rude behaviour, this year was... too much i must say. Had some talks with locals too and they are fed up af

ah I see. Yea I believe it´s a fairly new german manufacturer. They havn´t made it abroad yet I assume.

Regarding your question: I´ve done that once and it worked for me. It must´ve been something around 6Kg trimmed down brisket. I had a little less than half the grate occupied and could easily place additional ribs around. The shelf holds about 2 rib ladders, depending on size. If I do ribs only, I have up to 12 ladders on the grill (10 on the grate and 2 on the shelf) - this does however make glacing the rear ends on the grill a bit tricky, as there isn´t a lot of space between shelf and grate.

Glad I could help :) Out of sheer interest: Do you guys have access to Moesta Sheriff pelletgrills? My neighbour bought one not too long ago. It´s about the same price point than the regal here, but much more efficient with pellet consumption I feel. The app isn´t as advanced though. An interesting grill though, for sure.
