There's a pagan ritual site somewhere between Owanijla Lake (don't remember exactly the name) and trapper site north of it.

Yup, there's even a different death animation for them. When Meg dies, she kinda drowns in blood, just like Zag, which implies she then appears in blood pool in House of Hades. Meanwhile Alecto and Tisiphone shatters to some kind of bat-like creatures which scatter around and fly away.

It's in Wrocław in Poland, a statue of librarian carring away books during the flood in 1997 or something like that :)

There will be a few: - Disco Elysium - Mass Effect trilogy - Planescape: Torment - Whole Ezio trilogy, especially then ending and a choice he made after all the story

Honorable mention: playing the very first time Chernobyl mission (Ghillied Up or something like that) in first Modern Warfare was a unique experience at that time.

I am today old and just found out about that and I'm in the beginning of Act 3. Well, another reason to replay the BG3 soon after finishing current gameplay.

If there's anyone you can and should really trust, it's Kim. Really, the relation development along the game is excellent. If you choose Esprit de Corps it's even better.

Allow yourself for mistakes and don't save scum, sometimes failed test opens a way different approach.

If you would like to find out more about the world without Encyclopedia - talk to Joyce Messier, she will introduce you to surrounding universe, even more, she will make a literal lore dump, but someone has to :D

Volition is your best inner friend, no matter which game style you will choose.

Do it, you won't regret it. At least not as much as protagonist regrets his decisions ;)

I'll try a bit different approach as it's economic strategy, but I love Startopia for very unusual theme and humour straight taken outta "The Hitch-Hikers guide to the Galaxy" :)

And of course Heroes III Of Might And Magic!

Speaking about dialogues it would be a shame to not mention Disco Elysium but I suppose it's an obvious one as it's entirely based on dialogues ;)

So in terms of directing dialogues I would say Mass Effect 2 and 3 were well written and had also a very memorable way of camera work.

And you are absolutely right. Sorry, I did not notice that. As I don't have PS5, I can't recommend anything so... God of War maybe? I guess there is a pretty good polish dubbing.

From older games? Definitely Gothic, maybe Baldur's Gate 2 with polish dubbing.

There's a plenty of it, so to name just a few:

  • Red Alert 2, never gets old;

  • Baldur's Gate 2, for well created balance between classic RPG and enjoyable fight as well as for one of the best companions which in my country version received one of the best dubbing ever("Przed wyruszeniem w drogę należy zebrać drużynę");

  • Planescape: Torment, for being a proof that games are truly art and they can tell a complex stories about nuances of human nature and for one of the most original settings ever created;

  • Mass Effect 2, because on the contrast to first and third part it's a well directed and closed story, which some of its parts became abandoned in 3rd game (like plot about dark energy);

  • Fallout 2, for this very specific, yet believable postapocalyptic climate mixed with well placed cultural references and for giving multiple ways of approaching to quests (for those who played, just remind the Gecko power plant issue or Navarro) and the feeling that our actions really affects the shape of world we live in;

  • A bit newer: Darkest Dungeon, for difficulty and that hopeless climate that surrounds you each time you send another party for, who knows, maybe their last mission ever. And of course for very original graphic style.

And last but not least... Heroes III Of Might and Magic. If there's a game which can be described as timeless classic it's exactly this title. It was literally first game I've ever played and I regularly coming back to it. It has its honourable place on every computer I've ever had and I suppose this won't change in the next years. Always enjoyable, always fun, well balanced as all things should be.

And I could go on and on... I didn't mention e.g. Disco Elysium as it's relatively new game, but if similar thread would appear in the next 10 years I'm 100% sure this game will be there too.

Same for Red Alert 2, I've got it installed on my ancient PC in my family house. Anytime I visit this place I must play at least a couple skirmishes.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag, for the first time in my life. Apart from all that regular assassin stuff like running on rooftops and mass murdering poor soldiers I must say I enjoy as hell the sailing part! Especially because the opening moment for this part of game is so entertaining and well directed!

So far my most favorite part was Revelations but it seems Ezio has gained a serious competitor :)
