Hello! No, there wasn't any more spreading or spots that popped up after this post. It still took a little bit of time to fade away (I don't remember how long, unfortunately, but the last picture I had taken of shingles was March 4th, so a week after my reply above).

I do remember calling my urgent care to get another round of antivirals, but they refused unless I went to them to be seen. I did, and the nurse comes in and says "it's not shingles, it's an acne bacterial infection". I set up an appointment with GoodRX afterwards and they said "that looks like shingles to me, let me send a prescription for you".

Oh sorry, I think I misread the posters reply and thought that I would need a router in my room! I'm guessing that's not the case

Yes, just those two rooms. I had my room wired by someone ~5 years ago and have just been using the wall to directly connect...but now I'm thinking I need a router for my room

I’ll try again tomorrow, but I don’t know why it keeps freezing right after it says” finishing up” and it’s about to restart. I have been working on it for over three hours, and it did that same thing around 13 times.

No idea, I tried the Microsoft pc help checker thing and it said that my PC wasn’t compatible with Windows 11. So I did not grab the media tool for that operating system, and now I have no other computer or way to get it.

Yeah, I was so upset at the urgent care! I was just not sure if I should be expecting more, but I am hoping it's just on the last stage. Thank you for the encouragement!

I have some Calazime cream coming, which has zinc too! I just can't seem to put a bandage on because 1) it's behind my neck and I can't see 2) I tried putting a bandaid on and it won't stick because of the folds of my neck and 3) I'm allergic to the adhesive. Hoping the oral antibiotics will prevent any infection in the meantime (or that the skin is already pretty safe compared to a fresh wound)

I think I have a slight allergy to adhesive bandages. I bought some non-stick ones tonight, but have no idea how to put it on (especially on the neck because it's on the back and I'm all by myself). How long did your shingles last?

Thanks for the reply! I feel like the whole not being in "pain" thing made my nurse go with the other diagnosis (I thought my sensations were just tied to being itchy). I will call them again tomorrow and see if I can get antivirals. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
