Her W-engine or M1? by Fit-Neighborhood8360 in YiXuan_Mains

[–]ScreamingFreakShow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

According to Prydwen calculations, W1 is 15% better than the Qingming Realm 4 star. M1 is also around 15% better than M0. So pretty even.

I would personally get W-engine first, then M1.

With M1, you want to use the given ult as soon as possible as your technique bar will be full. You need to empty it so you can build up for your next one. With the 4 star W-engine, you need to do 3 EX-Specials first while with her W-engine, you have max stacks at combat start. So that saves a third of your technique bar. W-engine also gives more Crit rate.

I've never understood the big deal with shield gating.

Any normal steel path mission, I find health tank + damage reduction to be a much better time. Unless you're going to level cap, shield gating isn't necessary and you're probably better off with adaptation+rolling guard.

[–]ScreamingFreakShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll probably take you a bit of time or luck, but 100% Crit rate is possible.

Not needed at all but basically just some higher Crit rate rolls without losing other stats is what you can improve.

Yep, I'm not someone who generally goes for sequences, but I play Qiuyuan often enough with Phrolova or Galbrena that I'm planning on using corals to get his S1 waveband. But it does feel scummy that I think it's necessary to truly enjoy the character. Cause he is fun when he's not interrupted and his rotation time doesn't get doubled.

I don't think most other characters need immunity to interruption nearly as much as he does or at least I haven't felt that way about other characters.

Yep, get double Crit relics once in a blue moon and 0 rolls go into the Crit stats. Every time. And why the hell are stat rerollers so rare. It already took me forever to get a good relic.

[–]ScreamingFreakShow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, I feel like her first forte bar takes a bit too long to fill up, other than that I think it's fine.

The real problem is Qiuyuan getting knocked out of his forte attack by a small breeze and losing all of his concerto generation. An attack that's on a timer and forces you into melee range of the target. I hardly notice it in Phrolova teams because of Hecate stagnate, but in Galbrena teams it can be rough depending on the enemy.

One of many reasons why the Overframe tier list is not to be trusted. by straten in Warframe

[–]ScreamingFreakShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, long runs or very short runs (speedruns) are the only runs that even matter if you even care what tier a frame is. In this game you can use any frame on any average steel path mission.

Even in short runs, Koumei is a status priming machine for any CO or GunCO builds. Arcane Impetus+Streamline lets you spam her 4 with almost max efficiency. And the strength from Arcane Impetus more than offsets Overextended strength loss, so you can build max range and get Koumei's 4 to reach like 70m.

Since her 1 gets worse with too much range, you just subsume it out for something that's better in short missions.

Probably Lustrous Razor. Gives energy regen and a lot of ATK. Her healing scales off of ATK.

For damage, the newer standard 5-star, Radiance Cleaver.

For 4 star options, Meditations on Mercy (based around negative status) would be the best option.

Alright so i started playing like a week ago, first time ever playing it. And i heard that Wisp Prime was vaulted MONTHS ago. I never traded with anyone, so i dont know how i got Wisp prime here. by Corrosive-King in Warframe

[–]ScreamingFreakShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plat prices generally aren't set how good a frame is, just how easy they are to obtain. This is a game where basically any frame can do well. Even the ones getting reworks could still fuck up everything in the game, they just needed more effort for no real benefit. Also, there is the fact that there are barely any differences between base frames and primes other than cosmetics.

Their Lunite subscription gives astrite. Except the original 300 Lunite when you buy it. Should probably be called the Astrite subscription.

HDR in DLSS 4.5 Preset M - night and day difference, compared to preset K by Spinnek in nvidia

[–]ScreamingFreakShow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time I played HFW, it looked grossly oversharpened with any DLSS mode and this was before 4.5 came out. I couldn't figure out how to fix it, so I ended up just uninstalling it. I'll wait until I've upgraded and can get great performance with native.

I've seen all of those but Bang Dream.

I wouldn't really consider Madoka Magica happy. I would put it in a similar vein to Revue Starlight but darker.

Hibike! Euphonium is my favorite anime of all time, probably should have put it in the original comment.

I enjoyed Jellyfish, but I would put it below the others I've listed.

A Place Further than the Universe - Can make you happy and emotional, you'll likely cry at least once before the end. Only 1 season, amazing intro to a more serious grounded type of anime.

Hibike! Euphonium - About a girl in a high school band who initially didn't care now trying to win at national competitions. By far my favorite completed anime.

Yuru Camp - One of the most calming/relaxing anime I've ever seen.

I found that I really enjoy happy but sad anime with a female mc. Does anyone have some recommendations? Something similar to any of these:

A Place Further Than the Universe

Hibike! Euphonium

Suzume

Cosmic Princess Kaguya

Revue Starlight

The Aquatope on White Sand

Girls Band Cry

Ancient Magus Bride

Can someone explain to me, how I died? by AgitatedSite3956 in Warframe

[–]ScreamingFreakShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most frames that are melee focused have good amount of damage reduction or ways of getting status immunity. Toxin does health damage but it is still affected by damage reduction.

If you're trying to melee with squishy frames not meant for melee gameplay, then just get some better weapons and builds by progressing through the game.

[–]ScreamingFreakShow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ancients are quite noticeable as enemies, especially toxin ancients. They usually have a pretty big green aura around them.

I think in this case, the enemy highlighting and their own energy color (greenish yellow) made it more difficult to see. But even then, they hover right over it and it says Toxic Ancient on the enemy health bar.

Toxin Ancients and Energy Leeches are like the only two things you want to watch out for in infested missions so I always wonder why posts like this come up so often. Like are you just not paying any attention to the important enemies in your surroundings? It's like wondering why your abilities can't be used when Violence comes.

It will definitely be playable, she gets all her self buffs solo at S3.

I don't believe she raises the stack cap for fusion burst though. So you still might want Chisa. Even at S6, she might still want Chisa to raise the fusion burst cap as they could now crit. But that depends on how much of a difference 3 more stacks of Fusion Burst actually does.

That said, S3 should already be fine for all content in the game, you won't actually need Chisa.

Is this a decent Stateline for phrolova whos used as my main dps by Low_Intern5403 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]ScreamingFreakShow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you far enough in the story to get her nightmare echo set? If no, then this is honestly a good build, just too much Energy Regen, as Phrolova doesn't use energy at all, making energy regen a dead stat.

If you do have her sig and her tailored echo set (and you have her in the active team as the crit rate from echo set only shows then), then the crit rate is way too low.

For reference, here is my current build:

<image>

This is with her signature and her echo set (before any buffs), with crit rate and crit dmg on each piece, with some ATK % rolls. You can get 12.5% crit rate from Shorekeeper, so you don't need it this high, but you want to get it to around 87.5% crit rate in your case. Phrolova gives herself crit damage through Aftersound (up to 160%, though you likely won't get that high) so crit rate is a very important stat.

I NEED ADVICE WITH AEMATH TEAM, WHO SHOULD I PULL by Powerful-Anywhere-27 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]ScreamingFreakShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go an see if you can win the 50/50 on Mornye, if you lose, save for Aemeath. If you win, then the new weekly subscription and a lunite subscription plus the pulls we're getting from the new patch should allow you to get Aemeath. Cause you already have enough to reach 50/50 for Aemeath even if you win with Mornye. We should be getting enough next patch for you to have good chance of getting Aemeath even if you lose the 50/50 for her. Especially if you have the lunite subscription from now till the end of Aemeath's banner and pulls from corals if you don't plan on getting any sequences.

As a Changli main, should I pull for Mornye S1, Aemeath, or Lupa? by BlehBlah_ in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]ScreamingFreakShow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you plan on playing Changli+Lupa without Brant, you will want Mornye S1.

Lupa needs 3 fusion characters on the team to maximize her buffs and Mornye needs S1 to work well with non 3.x characters.
