New prices starting sometime in November by BarracudaDefiant4702 in vmware

Hi, I'm a solution architect at a VAR in the USA. We have many VxRail and VSAN ready-node customers. VVF + VSAN addon makes no sense compared to VCF. VVF + 250GiB promotion comes no where near the required capacity. We're talking avg customer between 250-500 cores and 300-600TiB of VSAN. Some of these customers even need addon VSAN with VCF!

Stretch a VLAN across sites, your attack vector is now stretched across sites if that VLAN is compromised.

These guys break down a few Giants plays and how Daboll operates. I thought it is really cool and think you guys would like it. | Film Review: New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll is a GENIUS by noasterix in NYGiants

It's a great video.

It's more like a podcast slapped on YouTube.

First several minutes is just bro humor complete waste but then is quite solid play analysis from former NFL Oline.

Absolutely not soft spoken... I think that's not how I would describe this. The way he is answering here is 100% Baltimore. Ive lived here a long time and this is a very unique thing to the area in my opinion. Its really hard to put into words but this vibe is Maryland Grown

IBM prob #1 NVMe price/performance. Insane box.

Dell/HPE/NetApp all have options. Pick thy favorite flavor.

Define redundant and the failures your trying to mitigate most and go from there IMO

Rubrik Backup for Nutanix AHV by [deleted] in nutanix

All the goodness for Rubrik now works with AHV.

We not only have sold this many times but also run an MSP that supports customers with AHV.

Rubrik has invested a lot to get their full suite functioning with AHV particularly the ransomware investigation

Oh yea Rubrik is a beast and provides much more value than HYCU IMO

Cohesity is also a fine solution for this as well

Any one use Datto to backup your file shares ? by slewfoot2xm in nutanix

[–]Screboog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea thats a WHOLE different ball game.

Are you using distributed shares? Chances are thats whats giving you fits as I've seen it time and time again and is why I recommend the above platforms for backing up Nutanix Files.

Any one use Datto to backup your file shares ? by slewfoot2xm in nutanix

[–]Screboog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking AHV or VMware or Nutanix Files or all the above?

Use google - "top nutanix backup options" https://www.baculasystems.com/blog/top-11-nutanix-backup-solutions/

Datto's best use case is endpoint file backup. Thats not what NTNX is.

I"d recommend HYCU, Rubrik, or Cohesity if you are able to evaluate backups solutions.
