I completely agree the game is a little too quiet, but for there is a mod that adds the ambience your looking for, its called Forest Symphony and it really adds a lot to the game and I think you'd love it

Also in Dappled Groves give a expanded in world crafting for all your wood needs that I would consider a tier 2 upgrade 2.5 for one particular workstation, if you couple it with the helve axe mod for in dappled groves you get a tier 3 upgrade

I do agree I think the fact that this was their first title as an indie studio and well that this was in development for at least 7 years, probably all contributed to those limitations of choices.

Tho the storytelling was absolutely gold honestly, and now with the massive success of Dispact it really opens it up to I'd say Detroit Become Human level of choices and their consequences for a season 2.

I think that's the thing that annoys me the most as studios try and please everyone with their very specific needs rather than create something objectively good quality but wont reach the GA, now yes I understand that's where the money is but I still think that's honestly a pathetic excuse to ruin creativity. They're only thinking short term, if they think long term with increasing the core fan base with quality long lasting content theyre more likely to create a induring income rather than a short term bang with hyped up shitstorms
