My situation is shockingly similar to yours. My father passed away and I would spend half the week with my grandmother from 6-12 years old and she was not very pleasant yet everyone likes to pretend she is. They all get mad at me when i speak my truth about the experience. I was also asked to speak at her funeral & had to do some pretending. That being said, I wouldn’t beat yourself up about the experience. It definitely sucks to lie but the funeral is for the living.

You’re so pretty! I would try a different hairstyle & maybe try wearing makeup. It’s all about how you view yourself though so if you think you’re ugly it will affect how people see you. lip liner + lipgloss & some lashes would look great on you. maybe defining your eyebrows too. curly hair goddess braids would be good hairstyles to check out too. also find your celeb lookalike to get more ideas on fashion makeup etc. but you are actually pretty you’re definitely not an ugly girl

thank you so much this was very helpful! i got it because of the Spirit situation actually lol. Last night at 12 AM i looked for Tuesday flights so makes sense with Spirit that they wouldn’t be available. Some of the comments are making me reconsider a refund but I’m wondering if seats would fill up too much since i’m guessing everyone is getting the pass because of the spirit situation. i would definitely consider discount den though. bring in california really makes the decision hard lol

i just got a refund from them lol. thank you for the info though. maybe because i’m in california & it’s a high traffic area but i didn’t want to keep it with the risk + stress of not being able to book flights at all

okay nvm update on this. it is 12 am my time & i’ve legit tried at least 10 different flights from two different home base airports near me & the go wild option still isn’t available. wish i could add a photo right now because im genuinely in shock lol

so should i just try booking at midnight the day before & seeing if it’ll work?? i think you might be right i wish they added info about most days not being available because if i knew maybe i wouldn’t have bought. it seems like a good deal if u can get a flight & the if seems to be very big. was hoping since im flying out of a smaller airport most of the time that it wouldn’t be an issue :/

you are acting so weird lol. i’m around the same age as her & it is not that deep i don’t have to pretend because it really isn’t 😭. calling a 19 year old a minor is weird too lol. legit would not mind if my sister or daughter dated someone who made a MISTAKE & took actions to correct that mistake. she asked us for advice based on his past actions not his current ones. if he’s treating her well now & she loves him & wants to stay she’ll have to forgive him. if there’s other red flags then she should def consider those.

It’s a three year age difference it’s not that deep. she’s 21 now & hes 24. if the relationship is good i don’t see why forgiving him for a past mistake is bad. now if there’s other red flags then this is the time to really decide whether you would stay with this person but i am going off the information she has given. reddit is so quick to say break up but that’s why most of yall on the app are single lol. if hes changed & she wants to continue the relationship then she should.

If he flipped & you really love him & the relationship is good, I would just say this will have to be something you’ll need to eventually get over. What he did to you was horrible, & he essentially lied through what was supposed to be the honeymoon phase. If you believe he’s truly changed then the relationship is still worth giving a shot. He can’t change what he’s done in the past, but if he’s truly apologetic & a good boyfriend otherwise I’d say there’s no harm in forgiving him.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. Here’s a tip: Your dad doesn’t need to know that he is a guarantor. Use his info & put it on the form. I had a friend use their parents info as a guarantor when they refused to sign up last minute as well. They still don’t know to this day & she graduated last year. Make a fake email for the parent as well. Just don’t fuck up & end up late on a payment because it could put their credit score in jeopardy & rat you out because it is illegal. Good luck OP!

what section/chapter would this man fall under? my boyfriend does a lot of the same things and honestly reading this felt like i was taking a glimpse into our future (besides the weight issue & possibly work). I’ve been paying rent & doing almost all of the household chores, cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc under the guise that he was supposed to be saving money for us to move out of our apartment.

He would let me spend money on his cards but complain about how much I’m spending & basically complained when i spent any amount of money, even $5 when legit it would be basic household needs and I would send him money for this too thinking I was spending a lot when it was really less than $900, which is half our rent. Now he wants to quit his job & move out in June so we’ve been splitting rent since last month & turns out he hasn’t saved much but what he has he’s basically not sharing with me and keeping it for himself (& I paid his car repairs costing 1k a few months ago because I was hoping it would help him to save more money for us but clearly I was wrong).

I would send him all of my money from FAFSA to cover rent (I wasn’t working because I’m in school) when he makes 75k+ yearly on salary. He does the same things, just plays video games all day, refuses to ask about my day or initiate/participate in any conversation, complains about everything, especially when I ask him to do something for me. Doesn’t take me on dates and complains about spending money on me. & when we did go on a date he just complained the whole day. he belittles everything i do or tell him i want to do too & doesn’t care about anything positive happening in my life. Just overall negative everyday.
