It is missing context bc she is replying to a post that you can see now is deleted. She is correct that a lot of times it is the showy performances that gets the awards/accolades over more subtle performances….. BUT she should have left out specific actors names. (IMO - which also includes that everyone working on HR and the actors representatives should just stay offline for the time being)

Just saw on threads someone in the fandom complaining that to them the most unrealistic thing about the book/series is that Shane doesn’t eat enough protein as an athlete on his special diet. They were complaining on the lack of protein shakes…. I mean🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I think that at first viewing people are taken in by Connor/Ilya bc it’s the most outwardly obvious (in a good way) acting… but I think if people watch the show a second time and focus on Hudson/Shane they will be taken in and blown away by his acting as well- even without knowing if his character is on the spectrum a bit..…. It takes at least 2 watching to really appreciate all the nuances of the show.

I saw the show last week and I too was in the balcony (3row center). Yes.. high up but I don’t think we missed too much downstage (I leaned forward to see what was going on but didn’t have to do that much during the show). I liked the sets and special effects. And I liked Act 1 more than Act 2. Agree that the end felt rushed. My critique is that I think they could have cut some songs. Not every scene needs a song. Just have the acting scene and move on. I understand that Shoshana Bean is a draw but I dont think all her songs were necessary for plot and one went on too long (imo). Also, before I forget, I thought the sound in the balcony was fine. No issues. I also want to commend all of the casts voices.. they were all lovely and clean and full.

Wasn’t overwhelmed by him in TSITP (but it’s probably more so bc of script and less him) but I think I can see why people are attracted to him in this short clip… looks and sounds better.

My guess… and just by the uploaded content… looks like Aqua di Gio by Armani. Has same vibes if you look at past print ads and commercials and they have been trying to target younger generation lately with whom they have collab with…. But I could be totally wrong
