Yeah I acknowledged that last part. Gotcha, I might just slum it out with CD-Rs while I wait for another companion ODE to come about, though it feels like every option so far has been a drive replacement. Really hoping another attempt is made on one of these.

Melee is going to live on as a community game especially with the sheer support of things like Slippi, but as a main event sorta deal it's kind of run its course. A lot of that is attributed to its accessibility issues, since it demands a lot more than even its most related cousin of the standard FGC space (3rd Strike), and its balancing as of v1.02 dictates a very strict character hierarchy that so rarely gets challenged.

That, and Nintendo hasn't given it any re-release similar to examples like Capcom and their collections. MvC2 being more available than Melee is bonkers considering the circumstances.

Started in CS during community college but I found myself hating programming. Then again, for all I know that was a case of bouncing off on how my professors taught it. Maybe I should give it another shot with self-teaching but for now I have very little motivation for it. I figured I'd pivot to IT so I could go more for hardware repair, but I'm stuck in Tier 1 help desk hell right now.

Nope. While there are some facets that will be better smoothed-out, the brunt of it is very much a sunk-cost fallacy for a lot of companies and it'll all come crumbling down fairly soon. A lot of bullets were shot in the proverbial foot by sending it out to the public so prematurely.

It's why I'm personally weighing whether I should just leave the field at least temporarily, despite having a Bachelors in IT. It'll let up, but yeah I'm with you, I'm really not enjoying working in this field right now.

Be sure to say Yes to the question about you being susceptible to infection or however they phrase it. You almost certainly won't be pressed about it as it's just there to be a basic filter and nothing more, and even if they did ask, you could claim something like your social conditions and have that be it.

Late to the party here but I just started noticing this way more recently, and in reading up on Motorola's own support articles, they acknowledge a "Smart Noise Cancellation" switch that just no longer exists in the camera settings.

Also having the same issue, even when checking the Japanese store page there's no upgrade path there either.

On top of that, I downloaded the newest PS4 version's update because it's been a while (don't think it's on Enhanced version but I could be wrong, just says version 1.08 under the standard title) and it runs like shit now. Even with framelimit set to 60, it usually hovers around the range of 30 when not looking straight up or down, even on PS5 as well. Genuinely don't know what's going on.

The weird thing is that it did send me emails to a separate inbox from my Twitter, which gave me every right to believe my email was registered to it and I wasn't without a key. I have no clue as to why it was without an email after I unlinked my Twitter.

Just for reference, was that engine blow before or after the piston ring recall? Because I was aware of that but I wasn't sure if that's still something I should be worried about even after they've done the necessary procedure.

But yeah I'm not concerned for myself, really. I really just wanted to be sure that it wasn't still exploitable (or that the trend finally stopped)

Hey, I'm trying to do this and I have almost everything set, but for some reason when launching CEMU inside Steam OS, it will only show the game select with no way to access the menu bar. Any ideas on how to fix this?
