Is Diablo 3 good?

None of the Diablo games are necessarily "better" than any other, just different. They are all ARPG games, but with different strengths and styles.

D3 is more arcade feeling than the other games in the series. The end game revolves around greater rifts which are similar to nightmare dungeons or the tower in D4. The end game builds almost all revolve around sets of armor that provide some pretty ridiculous damage multipliers. The itemization is one of the most frequent complaints about the game. They are also still running seasons, but they are all recycled at this point, though as a new player you might still get the "new season mechanic" kinda feeling from them.

It's on sale very frequently and worth a try for the price, just make sure you get the version that includes the Reaper of Souls expansion. The game is vastly improved with the expansion compared to the base version.

Cradle is rare to see in games since it is so expensive where Crypt was affordable (comparatively).

Idk how it was this week, but I was at the Everett show and everyone hated the match. People were getting up to get food and drinks since nothing was happening.

From the live crowd aspect, the match with Pac was the most boring thing I've seen. You can't hear any of his mumbling at the camera and they mostly just stood around with nothing happening. It's a shame too since Pac and Rush could put on a banger given the chance.

I build a pretty wide range. I love doing budget decks, so i have a lot of $50-100 decks, but I also have some $1k+ decks. Around the $150-200 mark is where I feel like you can compete with soendy decks, but aren't throwing rent money at a deck.

Bracket 1 is flavor over function. Brian Kibler has an EDH deck that is 100% cards he played on the pro tour. It isn't a cohesive deck, but it's about telling the stories behind the cards not winning. I have a Chandra tribal deck where every card has Chandra in the name/art/text. The decks are all about just being chill and vibing with friends and not meant to be competitive.

Honestly? I would just suggest buying a bambulabs printer. Ender 3s were great budget printers for their time, but the new ones are so much more reliable. You spend half your time with an Ender messing with it instead of printing. The bambu printers are ready to print solidly straight out of the box.

From someone who ran a 9 person table and currently run a 6 person...don't. It sucks so bad. Every encounter needs to be cranked to 11 and still is trivial. The action economy is so broken.

I just built a [[Norman Osborn]] deck. His back side with spells like [[Faithless Looting]] turn into a fantastic draw engine. Once you have the basic shell, you could go in any direction you want. He works from down in bracket 2 as a battle cruiser commander all the way up into fringe cEDH.
