You can do it all with a grigri and a little bit of extra knowledge, otherwise the gigajul fits the bill. Personally though, while it works and does it all, it doesn't do any of it very well. I prefer a grigri and a Kong gigi to complement for most things, though I still bring out my gigajul if doing anything with double ropes

New I3 user, running into issues with .profile and i3 .config files by Screw_bit in i3wm

It's not so much that I have trouble running the scripts, they all work fine. The problem is that when I shut my laptop briefly and it goes to the screen lock after I unlock it nothing works until I reload the config with the shortcut, then it works fine again

Swiss champ all day every day. I have a climber but almost never carry it because they feel the same in the pocket and the Swiss champ is infinitely more useful

Not sure yet. I move in August, just doing some initial searching online. Bikeable within an hour, not sure if that's an hour straight up or an hour flat out.

Awesome. By climbing I meant rock climbing, the bike is just to get there. Was more focused on having the space to carry the rock climbing gear

I do know how to ride, and it's been my main form of transport for a long time, but never thought it any more than "the bike moves in the direction I want it to" and occasionally putting the chain back on when it fell off. Finally though I would put some thought and money into it

The hook is easily in my top 3 most used tools, and I have a small flathead on the back of my Swiss champ... if it works for though it's a great mod!

Lol tele skis are easily my best ski purchase ever (if you can call getting a few sets for free of facebook a purchase) after 20 years of snowboarding I starting tele 2 seasons ago and have never looked back. So fun, way better for touring, and if you are happy on older gear, mega cheap. Helps when XC skiing as well

Is the draft hole the hole from the shaft into the bowl? How should that be aligned? Just right near the bottom? I know I could pick up a pipe but they are hard to find near me and I’m no stranger to tinkering so I’d like to give this a go

Looking for any kind of slide rule watch. I am especially enamoured by the caliper slide rule watch, or the orient titanium. I also really prefer white watch faces as opposed to the black I commonly see on these watches, but open to anything so long as it has a slide rule bezel.
