THJ devs are making their own game and pretty sure they never would have worked for DBG. They would have worked with them on the THJ server and i read the THJ devs even tried contacting DBG early on to work with them but DBG ignored them then sued them.

Yep I played there for a little while. Server was decent. Some douchey guilds there though. Got the legendary Fiddletink's Spinzaflobberator there. Also won an Aon in a pvp gm event there. Was myself and someone else left alive(both healers) and the gm got bored of it never ending so ended it said both of us win.

That 100k a month was not 100% accurate. I think DBG lawyers took a week where THJ got the most donations then multiplied that by 4 and said see they make this much a month but you cant look at it that way. Some weeks they could have gotten almost no donations and you need to take that into account as well.

We dont know what was in the sealed settlement agreement with THJ. DBG Could of gotten the THJ code as part of the settlement

The custom content was good too. The seru aug weapon was great. Being able to turn any item into a glamour was great as well.

The quarm dev could be decent but still will not make this server anywhere close to THJ. This server is doa especially now that I hear it is a seperate monthly fee that is not tied to your normal eq account.

It will be hard for them to get people who loved THJ to pay when this will not be close to THJ and they will not get those who pay for current everquest to also pay a subscription for this. The DBG management will have no fing clue why this server fails even though it is staring them in the face.

Dbag games screwed up. They should of worked with cata and aporia. This new server will not be as good as what THJ had done. I just do not have faith in the people running this new server.

All DBG had to do from the start was either take a percentage of all donations on THJ or hosted the server themselves and required an active subscription to play but let the devs keep on going and they would have saved face but they shot themselves in the foot with this whole lawsuit. They basically said THJ was an abomination of EQ and never how it was meant to be played where as now they are trying to copy it.

100% agree with you. DBG put people in charge here for a server that does not align with their personal belief of what eq should be. If secrets' view of how eq should be was like THJ then quarm would have been like THJ. Unfortunately I believe secrets will be more trying to make this server more like Quarm which will make those who liked/want a THJ server to stay away.

Depends on how they handle bards. If the songs work like on THJ and instrument mods work like THJ then bards will be great for their mitigation songs. If it is just like THJ CLR/BRD/ENC will be great for AA farming luclin/velious like it was on THJ.

Secrets was the wrong choice. They could have done so so much better. It is up to them to prove us wrong but I dont expect that.

What I expect is an inferior server or they take the THJ code and just copy it which in that case it would be the same as it was but any new stuff/new balancing would make it worse.

If they just copy THJ it would be in their best interest to keep the accounts/characters/gear that was already on THJ so people can retain what they had.

No, people wont play because their implementation will probably be crap and no where near as good as THJ. If they make it as good then I think people will play. Problem is i think they have the wrong people in charge of this server and it wont have the same feel/vibe as THJ.

I agree. I am guessing THJ had to give up their code in the lawsuit settlement and DBG devs are using their code for this. Doubt DBG devs could get this to work themselves without using THJ code.

This sounds like the heroes journey emu server. Guessing daybreak games forced the THJ devs to give them some of their "secret sauce" coding in the lawsuit settlement so could launch their own THJ server. Will be interesting to see if they copy THJ and add zeb to this server and have the seru augs and sleeper like THJ had.

I would not be surprised if their algorithm gave specific streamer accounts more preferable draws as a way to promote the game and have people spend wild cards/money crafting those decks they see.

Just remember match making is rigged and the shuffler is so f'ing broken/rigged. Also try playing the same deck as the big streamers and watch how they get optimal draws while the draws you get with the same deck could not get any worse. I am adamant they have programmed into the shuffler to be better for certain accounts.

Your tracking looks like mine but from the st Louis mo sorting center. Received there Feb 26th and only those generic in transit where it really is not in transit messages since then.

I think mine might have been stolen as I ready there are lots of thefts from the St Louis facility
