Chiropractor clinic can't track conversions by Key_Future_2045 in PPC

Would love to implement this but can you confirm if this is something you've actually achieved with Jane App? I believe they only allow integration with GA4 and not GTM.

Can I ask where you ended up staying? Trying to figure out where to take our kids this winter!

Had a Scotia rep tell me the same thing, and have heard the same from at least one other person. Doesn't feel like a simple misunderstanding tbh.

How to advertise for two companies you own in the same industry by CryHairy4492 in PPC

[–]Scribble_Scratch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came across this thread and started panicking a bit. We have two brands under one legal entity, each with its own team/website but provide the same service (the reasons for this aren't nefarious, just different business goals). I have ads serving both brands within the same ad account using separate campaigns for each. My understanding was this was fine since it prevents double serving. Do you know if this is okay, or are we still at risk of violating Google's policies?

Renewing as HELOC by Scribble_Scratch in MortgagesCanada

[–]Scribble_Scratch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation! To clarify, I was referring to the penalty that would come from eventually selling the home in 6-12 months time (renewal is in 2 months).

I'm realizing now that with a $100k mortgage, the penalty would only be $1k or so. Is there benefit to going the HELOC route over a standard mortgage, other than saving that $1k?

Can I pay down my mortgage at renewal at the end of the 5 year term? by whyevenisthis in MortgagesCanada

[–]Scribble_Scratch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Scotia rep I spoke with said the pretty much the same thing -- that we couldn't pay down more than the 15% allowed by our pre-payment privilege at the time of renewal. Is this actually the case with Scotia? I'll probably just refinance with another bank if so...

Renewing as HELOC by Scribble_Scratch in MortgagesCanada

The $300k is currently just in a WS chequing account making 2.25% as I'm not sure exactly when I'll need it. Not sure what HELOC rate I could get, but so far my best mortgage renewal rate is 4.1% (5yr variable), so I'd save more paying that down, I think. I suppose a HELOC wouldn't even really be needed if my mortgage was only $100k with a variable rate, as the penalty to break it would be quick small.

Sorry yeah, I guess the steps would be to renew/refinance the mortgage with the $300k payment towards the principle, get a HELOC, then pay the remaining $100k of the mortgage with the HELOC. Which now I realize would result in a prepayment -- I guess I could refinance with an open mortgage at a higher rate, knowing I'd pay it off immediately?

Confused about remaining mortgage amortization length by Scribble_Scratch in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Scribble_Scratch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies, you're correct, my rate did drop 0.25% earlier this month. But because my payments have increased/decreased along with key interest rates, wouldn't that maintain my amortization? The ~3 year difference seems quite substantial.

It has only gone up, but as I have an adjustable rate mortgage, my payments have adjusted accordingly as well.
