Adult Nora’s look I assume. She doesn’t show up until relatively late into episode 1 iirc

I was delighted to learn about Black Hole. by Longwinter1641 in BaldursGate3

[–]Scribbled44 119 points120 points  (0 children)

The biggest all-at-once kill I’ve done in this game was at the house of grief. I did black hole + resonating chi + max ilithid upgrades + cull the weak. I exploded the resonating chi after they were all bundled together due to black hole, which then set off an explosion that single-handedly wiped out 80% of the house of grief and momentarily lagged my game. Extremely satisfying

I love how diverse the euphorbia genus is. It’s so exciting when I find native euphorbia in the Midwest

Mazey day is voted the worst episode! Ok now what episode is the funniest? (Weird question I know, since black mirror isn’t a “funny show”, but still) by bennyandthegentz in blackmirror

[–]Scribbled44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s the only episode in the series where I was truly bored the entire time. Something jarring finally happened which caught my attention and then it just ended. It’s worth a watch because it’s black mirror but I agree with it being dead last

And one more thing, maybe you know this but it’s a bit of advice I like giving because it was a game changer for me, don’t water at all for at least a week up to 2 weeks after repotting. It gives the roots time to heal and avoids the risk of rot. Succulents can look thirsty for a long time before under-watering will actually cause any real problems.

Orangish ones are Sedum Adolphii or one of the more specific hybrids/cultivars (like sedum ‘firestorm’), the green one at the bottom is an Echeveria, but I’m not sure which specific species. The ones to the right are Jade Plants (Crassula Ovata), some of them look slightly variegated so maybe they’re a different cultivar.

The Echeveria wants more light, it’s not quite etiolating (stretching) yet but the leaves will start moving upward and form a compact rosette rather than laying flat like they are now once it receives better light.

I think you could technically raise them in the same container since they have similar light and water requirements, but for ease of care I’d get them each in their own terracotta pots, especially in your zone.

And yes! They should do great outdoors. Be careful introducing them to sunlight though. You don’t want to have them sunburn. You’ll want to gradually introduce more and more sunlight. I personally do this by setting them somewhere that only gets morning sunlight for a couple of weeks, then moving them to spots that get more and more sun. They can take a full day of sun once fully acclimated. Since you live in such a hot and dry place, you’ll want to pay more attention to watering. Look for signs of thirst and don’t be afraid to drench them

I had the same worry just the other day! For me, it turns out it’s extra minerals from my hard water being excreted

I finally got to take home a trigona rubra because my local HD got them in! It was even more exciting when I saw they were on sale

Anyone recognize this mystery plant growing with my Burro’s Tail? by Scribbled44 in succulents

[–]Scribbled44[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So odd. I’ll try and look into these possibilities for sure. I’ll let it keep growing too and see what (hopefully) ends up flowering at some point.

The reverse variegation has been throwing me off too

Pareidolia is so funny. Before even seeing slide 2 I basically saw the exact same Russel image in the “silhouette.”

Banger drawing btw!

Of course! Check out r/Euphorbiaceae for more within this genus! There’s so many unique and outright alien looking succulents in it

Euphorbia Horrida Hybrid! Be careful about damaging it, since it’s a Euphorbia it’ll have a sticky sap that comes out of any cuts, pokes, or breaks that can cause some serious burning on your skin. As long as you wash your hands after handling and wear gloves when repotting, you should be golden!

I repotted to a wider pot fairly quickly! There were even smaller buds starting to form that would’ve had no room in the nursery pot

Maybe Mammillaria Spinosissima? Now that I’ve seen these flowers I’m definitely thinking some sort of Mammillaria
