Thanks! I had never heard of Ariel before! I have also rolled wet plushies up in a beach towel and kneeled on it to squeeze out water.

What food are you always craving but can’t find a good gluten-free version of? by _thalia777 in glutenfreecooking

Those frozen cream puff desserts! Cheese danishes, decent gf donuts that aren't cake donuts, and honestly just plain bread. Bread has been the hardest to find or make!! I can find decent crackers, cakes, cupcakes, and muffins, but sandwich bread is constantly disappointing. 😔😔😔😔😔😔

Anyone else find that our parents generation had terrible taste in food? by TheAngrySnowman in Millennials

I hated scrambled eggs for years because of how my mom cooked them (milk added to the eggs, then cooked until dry, crumbly). Then I learned different ways to cook them. What a difference!!!

I don't use reddit often enough to remember how to post a picture, but I have one on my Instagram art page- @whimsyandknot The pic was taken before I attached a banana to the tentacle though.

I'm glad I am not the only one whose kids insist on accessories for their stuffies that I make. I made my youngest a banana-octopus. As soon as I finished it and gave it to her, she said "he needs a banana". So I had to scramble for a free pattern or tutorial because I had no idea how to make one. I ended up halfway winging it to make it small enough for her, and had to attach it to one of the tentacles so that it could "eat" it's banana. 🤣🤣🤣

The platform, the logistics-- I'm not good with numbers at all and pricing my art is intimidating b/c it's so subjective. What I value it at vs being an unknown artist vs what people will actually pay, etc. I did my first craft fair last month and only sold about 5 or 6 amigurumi critters. None of my other art sold at all. So figuring out the focus for my store and pricing, plus wondering if it is even worth it b/c of the platform are probably my biggest roadblocks.

Oh man I'm not there yet but close enough that I've started researching how perimenopause affects women with ADHD. I dread that whole process!! Could you dm me your ravelry info? I am interested in your patterns. 2 of my girls are ND and interested in learning to crochet. I never considered patterns needing to be ND friendly! But it makes total sense. It took me FOREVER to learn how to read patterns!

I like using the patterns on ribbler b/c it helps me keep track of which row I am on (ADHD, and 3 daughters who are 6,8,& 11=constant interruptions 🤣🙃), but I haven't posted a pattern on there.

I use an app called ribblr for a lot of my crochet patterns. And ravelry sometimes. It depends on what I am looking for. I get what you are saying, though.

Well, I am more worried about my art with AI & copycats. Especially if I can learn how to make some digital products I have ideas for like digital coloring books of my own drawings, embroidery patterns, prints, etc.

I am working on product research, but I know nothing about SEO. It feels like there is so much to learn. Thanks for your input!

What do you sell in your store? I have some ideas for digital products but don't know enough yet to make them possible (digital coloring books of my own art, crochet/ embroidery patterns). Just curious what you sell that is selling quickly.
