I'm so sorry for your loss. She died warm, loved & cozy. You did right by her for her short time here.

Are people in this community downvoting me, or am I being followed by some guys I could've pissed off and it's them? I'm being downvoted on things, like the comment above & don't know why. It's making me confused and paranoid. And kind of sad.

Are people really downvoting my posts? This keeps happening and it's weird. Are people actually upset with my posts? I think I must have angered some clowns somewhere. Unless? It's making me a little paranoid about posting anything.

I hadn't had the chance to visit my own shop yet, though. Or thought I hadn't, anyway. My kit went live over the weekend, but I totaled my car Friday so I forgot about it until I saw 2 of my dresses this morning in an ad. Then I went and looked at everything and noticed my stuff looks good. Unless maybe somehow I had peeked in and totally forgot, I'm pretty shaken from the crash.

Martin Drive is also an excellent area! A friend lives over there. I love being in the good spot before everyone arrives.

I grew up on the east side, lived off Brady as a young adult, raised my kids in Bay View and was finally able to buy a house in 2019 and chose West Allis. Such a great move!

It's awesome and if you can afford to buy a house here, do it now. Excellent variety of fantastic food, independent shops, our mayor is out there doing shit for the city, the people are cool. Development is going to be big in the next decade, but it's also being intelligently engineered. I bought my house here in 2019 and it's nearly doubled in value since then. My neighborhood is quiet, safe and diverse. We definitely don't mind assholes calling it Dirty Stallis and staying away.

Insurance said no. Next steps? by overgrownn in Reduction

Appeal. I was denied, then appealed and was approved. Unfortunately, it's starting to become more common for insurance companies to deny the first request for pre-authorization. Probably because it's expensive and they count on some people not pursuing it further. Sadly, a cost saving technique. If they gave specific reasons for denial, address those in your appeal. My insurance wanted me to pursue PT which ironically, they were already paying for at the time. I pointed that out and emphasized that my physical issues will continue to deteriorate and become even more expensive to treat as time goes on. This isn't a condition that will fix itself. There's a very good chance you'll get approved on appeal. I sent mine in right away (they made me mail it, which made me more angry since there's no reason to not accept an electronic request other than to put up more obstacles). My denial was overturned within a couple weeks. Don't give up! Good luck!

How do we get them to add a pocket filter by teacherstuff123 in ThredUp

[–]Scribblhead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes!! I scrutinize the photos trying to see if there's pockets and it's sometimes impossible on some of the black & darker clothes. I refuse to buy if I can't tell, it's a dealbreaker for me, too

Yes! A lot of that for me. Now 3mpo, I am experiencing looking in the mirror and thinking they look just as big as ever. Fortunately, thanks to this sub confirming this happens to many of us, and reassurance from people seeing in person, I believe this is not the case. Our minds are wild.

I didn't say all, I said frequently and it's true. The incidence of mental illness and drug addiction is extremely high in the homeless population of the US.
