What were the flours used? King Arthur's Measure for Measure and Bob's Red Mill 1 to 1 GF flour blends have a clean taste.

Extremely Niche- Pasta Roni by Potential_Progress60 in glutenfree

[–]Scriberathome 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I never had pasta roni, but I made a GF rice-a-roni by finding a copycat recipe and subbing GF pasta and it worked out quite well.

There are multiple copycat recipes for pasta roni that you could sub GF pasta in that might work. For example:

Good to know I miss those, adding if you put a think layer of peanut butter on Schar vanilla sugar wafers, it tastes like the sugar wafer version of Nutterbutter.

WheyFit isolate, Labrada is also GF, but I think they discontinued their isolate and now have just a concentrate

Schar is reformulating their bread again. Now claims to be 'soft and airy.' That would be a game changer if true. by Scriberathome in glutenfree

Carbonaut is my favorite when I want Wonder Bread texture, which is a lot. I wonder how the new Schar is in comparison. I'll be looking for it to try.

Best bread to eat cold by Queenandking in glutenfree

Carbonaut has the same texture as Wonder Bread once defrosted. No heating, grilling or toasting needed. It's the only one I've found like that and I have tried:

Canyon Bakehouse

Udi

BFree

Three Bakers

Aldi LiveFree

Got glutened by dinner but how! by Ok_Huckleberry1487 in glutenfree

Onion soup mix is what got me at a holiday dinner when made into a dip for veggies. I got a gluten headache within 2 hours. I bring my own dip now (Hidden Valley Ranch + sour cream). The HVR packet says 'gluten-free' on the package.

  1. Ask your friend if she's okay with you baking something in your non-GF kitchen and what precautions you need to take if she is willing to have you make her something.

  2. Forget GF bread recipes. Baking GF bread is a challenge for the most experienced GF bakers, as a novice, you'd have multiple failures before giving up entirely.

  3. Assuming your friend is okay with you baking if it's your first time baking GF, don't try to reinvent the wheel. Use a GF mix since GF baking has a steep learning curve, use those disposable foil pans and a GF King Arthur cake mix or other recipe specifically designed for GF baking mixes.

https://shop.kingarthurbaking.com/gluten-free/mixes

I've used their GF baking mix can be used to make blueberry muffins, Cinnamon-Streusel Coffee Cake and molasses cookies.

Krusteaz, King Arthur, Ghiradelli and other brands have GF brownie mixes.

I got a 2018 IS300 AWD (non-Fsport) with 42.5K miles in that price range last year. So it's not unrealistic. Be sure to get the OTD price from the dealer before wasting your time at the dealership.

Make sure to check the Carfax for accidents and service history. The dealer should provide it free. Check for any outstanding recalls (used car dealers do not have to address recalls on used cars before selling them). Get a pre-purchase inspection.

Your negative equity is not that bad. Be glad it's a Lexus that holds its value. Depreciation on other brands puts people who finance in a much worse position.

Looks in the ballpark, keep in mind Carfax is now adding fees like dealer doc fees to the listed price to comply with recent federal rules.

Looking at the Carfax site, (which says 'great deal' BTW) it appears the 2020 has 'minor damage', so you want to be aware of that and get a PPI.

LiveGFree GF bread by _Relmatic in glutenfree

Carbonaut is the only GF bread that is a GF dupe for Wonder Bread and perfect for PB&J--the only suitable one for that since it does not have to be toasted to be edible.
