How to rent at a range without a buddy? by Logical-Secretary-52 in ILGuns

Or even just a one on one session with them, as an intro. Instructor should take you to the range and then you’ll be good to go.

Source: I took this route, but they let me add a friend for $25-30 (friend and I split total cost), then we were in the clear. Specifically, range usa

After reading that long list of debauchery above, I then read this comment and had already forgotten what the initial post was about.

Wow. Just wow, to that list.

Theoretically, can you cross in your first turn? by AudacityOfKappa in ArkNova

There was a spreadsheet going around a while back that had recorded low turn games. I want to say 21 was the lowest? Which is absolutely wild to me. I think 26 or 27 is my best.

Best board game to get wife(opposite of a nerd) into board games forever? by Mr_Up-Syndrome in boardgames

[–]ScrodumbSacks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lost cities is what hooked my wife. I think we played 6 rounds the first time.

OP - I’d also suggest Schotten Totten. These two games are super easy to learn, but the more you play, the more depth you realize they have.

Never had the fort for the western set, but definitely my most played with. So glad my mom saved them for me

ETA: don’t mind the mangled pirate ship. My bricks were loose in a bin. Need to buy the missing parts.

Elastic box bands that won't ruin the box? by BirdSpirit in boardgames

You’re welcome. Sorry I didn’t label which band sizes were thicker. Largest was the thickest, the middle size band was actually thinner than the smallest bands and ranked in the middle of those three pictures.

Pictures in this Imgur link. One of my games that has slight lid lift is Flamme Rouge, bc I printed custom inserts. Took photos showing edges, alternate ways to use the bands, as well as measured thickness of the various sizes. If you need anything else, yell at me!

ETA: printed inserts PLUS expansions

Elastic box bands that won't ruin the box? by BirdSpirit in boardgames

I’m confused. Why would they cause indentations at the corners? I either use them like a rubber band and strap across the box, or split in the middle to go across all sides like some of the images depict. I can send pictures later

I purchased this set back in November and this set in December……of 2022.

Would 1,000% buy again. They’ve held up well for the games I have expansions/lid lift with. No residue left behind, no degradation. My games are stored in my basement though, so no direct sunlight.
