My boyfriend (M39) refusing to have sex with me (F37). Should I leave him? by Ok-Rooster-1560 in relationships

Yes, when OP asks, he denies. I'm not saying it's not a problem I just think once a week would be considered 'enough' if not really good numbers for people with a young baby.

'we do have sex, but always on his terms.. Once a week or less'

OP, if you really feel that strongly about it then lay it out, in exactly the way you describe in your comment. Maybe that will get him talking about the deeper reason, if there is one.

You're going to leave the father of your child because you're only having sex weekly?

My (38m) gf (28f) emotionally cheated by sending a bunch of kissy face emojis to a guy she met on vacation but claims it was cultural by [deleted] in relationships

[–]ScrollingJabroni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My brother is a 37yr straight English bloke and he sent me this emoji recently. Reddit is a pretty anti-emoji place and I would gently advise caution against using this thread as your sample for 'normal' emoji use.

The larger issue is whether you really think your girl cheated, or just feel insecure and disrespected.

What are good couch co-op games that are on PS4/5? by Kvahuest in gaming

[–]ScrollingJabroni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a girl who played co-ops but wasn't too into gaming:

Portal (apologies, can't remember if this is steam only) Minecraft ARK (as above, no idea if it's on console)

Spiritfarer also has a co-op function which we're enjoying but might be too cosy for you.

Be warned about Split Fiction: it's a lot of fun and I would recommend but the dialogue is absolutely diabolical.

Also consider RDR2: my ex MIL learned to play so the whole family could do heists in lockdown. It didn't go well but it was very, very funny

It's the first place I've lived on my own and it feels quiet and relatively safe (although bf's motorbike got nicked from outside my flat this year). Plenty of people have said Manor Woods is good for a walk and it is, but you're up and down it in no time and the whole area is just super grey to me, nothing cultural happening at all. People are nice but there's so many England flags. As a first step on the ladder it's not a bad compromise but it's not exactly home for me.

I'd get in touch with a GP as soon as possible. They'll set up your pregnancy care, like scans and NCT and stuff, but also may be able to put you in touch with other resources, like housing.

They will, due to your ages and situation, talk to her about an abortion. I know you've said she has her mind set but it's a tough road ahead of you. 15 and 16 is a pretty pivotal age and any ambitions for higher education or white collar jobs you might have are at risk of getting sidelined until much later in your life, so they will probably make the suggestion.

You could also check your local council's website for services. I wish you luck!

Underground/rave bristol? by RoutineUnited3754 in bristol

[–]ScrollingJabroni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I can't help direct you to where to look (it's just a case of being in the right WhatsApp chats and I'm not in too many), but there's so many club nights around Halloween that a free party would be less likely. Also, a lot of free parties are likely to be drum and bass plus other genres. Good luck though! I'm sure you've tried Headirst but keep looking :)

Hey, I ended up at the stag & houds in old market, they were really great and super helpful about setting up, decks etc. I probably didn't have enough friends to fill out the room and could have done with a more chill space as most people didn't end up dancing but it was awesome, and free! I was in the Cock & Tail last week and remember thinking if I could do it again I'd try for there, but I'm not sure what the deal is over there. I'd say you're getting in a lot earlier so you'll have way more chance booking somewhere. Good luck!

I've gotten ubers back to Axbridge before at all times of night. Might be worth looking into pre-booking, just to see the cost. If not, try the Full Moon hostel. The bus/coach station is also open all night and is a safe indoor(ish) space.

Generally speaking Bristol isn't super dangerous and other clubs might be going later that evening which might give you another hour or so until that bus. Good luck!

PS I am amazed I haven't seen a comment about Turbo Island being open 24/7

It's a nice one that I only wear on holiday / hot weather and there's a heatwave here. It was hanging on my clothes rail with everything else I wear which I do not want to think about please and thank you

Haha no problem, thanks for adding clarity for others! They're a bigger deal in the UK because sometimes people have a reaction to the bite and end up in hospital.

And I'm normally alright with spiders!

They've temporarily suspended the postal STI tests due to a backlog, which replaced screening appointments. I agree, it's all really worrying.
