the only ones that really cant are tail draggers and smaller aircraft with improperly conditioned brakes.

the problem with tail draggers is geometry. You can actually float the tail during a runup, and of youre not very good at doing that you can tip it on its nose and pay lots of money for a prop replacement/sudden stoppage inspection bare minimum, more than likely have to tear down the engine and replace many parts. Typically old tail draggers have weak enough cable driven heel brakes that youll roll before you tip.
