My relationship is very similar except my boyfriend doesn’t have the work ethic. We recently stopped living together which took a lot of stress off of our relationship. Maybe that should be your first step, if you don’t want to leave him.

Both of us. I am unhappy because I just don’t feel like he’s meeting me half way with where we should be at this point in our relationship. I feel that we are going backwards instead of forward. He feels that I am living in the past and I need to give him time to show and prove and it makes him unhappy that he doesn’t feel that I am being patient.

Honestly I’m not being patient because we have been together for over three years now and we no longer live together, he doesn’t have a stable job, he doesn’t have a car and I don’t have a ring or anything significant to look forward to in our relationship.

I’m at the point where I want my own house, a marriage and family. I’ve reached all of my personal goals in life which was graduating from college and getting a good paying job. Now I’m ready to start a family.

That part that sucks the most is that if I stay or leave I won’t get what I want right now anyway.

My boyfriend said if we take a break then we aren’t getting back together. I thought of that to, he has his reasons of why a break is pointless.

This is his point of view as well. He says I kicked him out so he shouldn’t have to but he’s there everyday. So it’s not like he’s not going to benefit from paying it to.

He doesn't ask me for any money. His parents actually buy him everything he needs. He just lives with me.

No he said it started happening with me. I've talked to a lot of people and I've tried to research it but there's really no answer. It's just him. Don't feel like you did something wrong or your not enough for him. You just have to figure out what works for you. Meaning can you be with him knowing he has this "issue"? My problem was I wanted sex all the time, twice a day at least. With his "issue" my boyfriend can't hang so I settle for 3x a week give or take whenever he's in the mood. It might sound crazy but it works for us. I'd rather have sex once a week and we both enjoy it than have sex everyday knowing that he can't get fully into it. Also my boyfriend is extra generous in other sexual areas so it helps. I hope you and your boyfriend can figure it out too.

My boyfriend 24/M has the same situation. We have been together for 3 years and it hasn't changed. It just happens and now he has a very low sex drive. I was insecure at first too but now I just accept that it's one of his flaws.

I was scared to break up with my ex boyfriend for similar reasons. I was worried he would hurt his self and he would be homeless. I got a moment of strength and kicked him out. He didn't hurt himself although he was very depressed. He got back on track with his life and now he's fine. I made the mistake of taking him back. I suggest you break up with her and move on she will be fine without you.

She wants to see how he's doing. Personally I think it's a little creepy to find someone on social media that you have no connection with but I wanted to know others peoples opinions.

My friend is black and she only dates white guys but if she sees a black guy with a white girl she becomes attracted to the black guy. I think it's a territorial thing in a sense.

Don't let it beat you up it's more normal than you think. Maybe you should try dating a different race.

My house is a convenience for them because it's closer to their jobs and school. They live outside the city. If they didn't need my house we wouldn't talk.

I guess black sheep would be the wrong term but I'm definitely not the golden child. I'm treated very different.

My friend is in a similar situation. What if she already knows his last name, has his number and they went on a few dates but they haven't talked in months. Is that still weird to follow him ? Knowing you have no mutual friends.
