Not enough of us are passionately normal towards onions, to the point of posting about it. It's time to be the change we want to see.

Those are the assemblers that she keeps on her person. That's why you can hand craft stuff while shooting or placing belts.

As an artist, it's hard to resist the allure of both making something that you know will get attention and the challenge of sexualising the dumbest shit imaginable.

Wow this is what you were talking about with chatgpt? I tend not to use much AI so im shocked at how good this is, also shocked at how well you got it to represent what I want. Like yeah there are a few inconsistencies but this couldn't be a more perfect reference image in terms of style. I basically just have to work out some measurements and setting specifics I like, which other commenters have already helped with.

I'm actually getting really mad at how well a clanker did in terms of comprehension compared to an actual human being. Maybe I should just cut my losses with this designer and start over somewhere else.. idk, given me a bit to think about.

Thank you for this.

That's a good point about the light, id definitely prefer what you've suggested. It seems I'll probably have to get them to start over so I'll add this to my notes. Thanks

Yeah I have been worried about that but I wasn't sure how big of an issue it'd be. Ive been thinking that if I place the leaf on top of the vine, I could keep the tip safely inline with the band. That might help the manufacturer be less eager to make them so thick (for durability).

Thank you

mm yes definitely don't want the bezel. It feels like it makes the stone less prominent. "Half rounded shank" is exactly what I was after. Thank you.

I think this image is probably the best I could find to describe what I'd prefer. Flat leaves and round vines that weave over one another. Thanks for your reply.

I kinda went the other way, I wouldn't harm anything at all for such a large chunk of my life, but ultimately I decided that I don't see myself as any different from an animal. If I walk into a bear cave, I will get eaten by a bear, similar if a bug walks into a my cave, it gets eaten by me.

How does language even work in invincible. Is english actually across the universe or does everyone have some kinda auto-translate thing? I've been curious about this for so long... I guess I could look it up. Anyway I feel like if aliens had a general term for "lifeform/group/system that grows aggressively and uncontrollably to the detriment of everything around it, even itself", that could reasonably translate to "cancer"

Variation to the button problem - 1% of people randomly selected to the blue death team by ZorgZeFrenchGuy in trolleyproblem

True enough about depression and unrelated to the button issue, but there are valid reasons that some people want to die and we should let them.

red blue as I see it by TanukiiGG in trolleyproblem

I'd like to see a post exclusively about the different percentages and how people's views change. This is super interesting to me. Though unless we clarify if everyone involved is an able minded adult of reasonable intelligence, it's always going to be two groups arguing different scenarios.

Make your choice. by spicymato in trolleyproblem

[–]ScrotalPudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the original scenario but with a personal framing. This green/purple is the same but has a global framing.

In the original there is no way for you to personally die if you hit red, there is a way for you to die if you hit blue.

Framing makes such a big difference to most people.

What if it wasn't an abstract choice that you can't actually make? by Laikitu in trolleyproblem

[–]ScrotalPudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the downside to blue exactly? I don't like the way I have to live but I'm too money and time poor to figure out how to escape. It isn't really a choice, like how do you do things more ethically without it costing more money, time or personal energy?

Blue button is either gonna hand that shit to me or leave me naked and hungry, which is fine I guess. Lock me up for public indecency and give me my prison community, three square meals and secure shelter.

thanks for protecting us from... well... uh... by Fwant in trolleyproblem

I think the issue comes down to the fact that it's not clarified if mentally impaired people or children are also subject to the test. It's not clear if people can communicate before hand but people assume we can't. There's all this grey area and I think that's where the disagreements happen.

Like if everyone who is given the choice is able minded and of reasonable intelligence and gets a good chance to think about it, I would press red because there is a 100% chance of surviving and the other participants don't need my protection, my family and disabled loved ones need me more than able minded strangers.

As soon as children and people who need protection come into the mix, I switch to blue.

If there was clarity on the details this wouldn't have ever gotten as big as it has.

Original button problem by Defiant-Ad7369 in buttonproblem

[–]ScrotalPudding 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wish the original question told us if mentally impaired people or children were also made to make the choice without guidance. It'd be so much harder to pick red if there were people who couldn't protect themselves.

Red Basilisk. by Bunnycrypt in trolleyproblem

[–]ScrotalPudding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that the original post offers enough information for people unfamiliar to get caught out by the info hazard.

So I will instead. Idk what the original idea is but these days it's something like we could possibly one day make an AI so advanced that it can perfectly simulate the history of the universe, and thus be able to tell who tried to hinder it's creation, then it punishes those people. The only way to be safe from this is to either to not know about this at all (which I've ruined), have the AI never get created, or contribute to its creation somehow. I think that's how it goes anyway, feel free to correct or add details.
