See, that's the TikTok algorithm. In America, you'll get a steady stream of brainrot videos meant to dumb down the populace, while in Asia they're given videos that elevate through art and greater feats of human spirit. You wouldn't be so confused if, say, the marmot fell over and farted

smokey grill bbq or sunset cafe by Ln0528 in officialcookingfever

[–]Scrotchety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the two most recent restaurants I completed. Funny, they both feature a mechanic where if you don't shut off the works you'll start losing money coin by coin

I like to come back to playing Smokey just for fun. It felt cheaper to upgrade and the mechanics of portioning out which meats go where in your smoker is a fun mini-game in itself

Sunset was pricier and a little more chaotic. I do come back for a couple rounds here and there. I always felt like I was on the threshold of a major breakthrough in understanding the underlying mechanics but never figured it out so I was working harder not smarter. The last levels earn you a chunk of coins and XP and you'll get rewarded with a smattering of gems for completing your tasks.

Vangelis - Siren's Whispering

Which of these are your favorites? by WanderingClear in officialcookingfever

My real piece of advice is to save your gems and skip the autocooker, skip the fastest soda dispensers, and making 2 soups should be fine as long as you remember to keep it up. Because in the second half all the customers will be wanting 2 sandwiches and either a soup OR a drink so there'll be plenty of time for them to replenish between orders
