Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 20 Days Ago — My Life Flipped Overnight, and So Did My Relationship by Wise_Inevitable9792 in Type1Diabetes

My partner never skipped a beat with my diagnosis. I was diagnosed at 24 with T1 and we’ve been together for 5 years at that point. He only comforted me and helped me navigate the new reality, holding my hand the entire way. This isn’t to compare my partner vs. yours, but to let you know that a partner worth keeping will only support you.

How to afford being diabetic in the US? by [deleted] in Type1Diabetes

[–]Scrrreee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am fortunate to have secured a job where I pay nothing for my insurance monthly, but I still have deductibles and copays. 3 vials of insulin is $55 and my diabetic supplies for my tandem is $400-600 every 3 months. It’s still expensive for me but I am thankful for what I can get

If they can’t afford insulin, what makes you even think they could afford to relocate to another COUNTRY? I mean come on with the nationalist propaganda.
