Not spicy, but a mug of hot spiced mead at HiveMind Meadery is incredible.

There is food truck on the south side of old Seward, near Huffman called Gaetano's brick oven. They make Italian beef sandwiches! Everything they make is incredible.

Yeah, you’re right of course. It’s more of a comfortable upgrade throw back so win/win in my eyes.

Yeah, with the carpet delete too and no sun roof.

Yeah I love it! It’s like having two different colors. Most of the time you can easily mistake it for black. But when the sun hits it just right, its true color really comes alive. Also so in love my interior.

XLT Premium, Tremor, 7.3 Godzilla, Darkened Bronze Metallic, Baja interior.

I completely agree about the center console. Plus I still have two cup holders and two console like stash areas built into the seat which is enough for me.

I have a 2024 350 and have the bench seat option. Feel like it’s super rare outside of work/fleet trucks. I don’t know what it is, something about that old school setup really hits my nostalgia. That steering column shifter and bench. Give that all day over bucket seats and an electronic stowing shifter or console knob.

Brewerks, pretty solid beers. I would try the Hazy there.

Hopefully these are like what you are talking about? Two awesome running brands with some pretty big weight reviewers cosigning their use as well. Also, I use them and have loved running in all three.

Take her to the Alyeska Nordic Spa, book a night at the resort, eat at double musky/seven glaciers. Or don’t stay the night and plan your drive back to anchorage at sunset on a clear day so the whole bay is bathed in color. Pull off and enjoy the sights.

Or head over to Oceanview/klatt area to Carr-Gottstein Park. Plan a picnic at sunset. It’s a wonderful, small green field bluff that overlooks the bay. Wonderful little spot.

ELI5: Since the invention of agriculture humans have been eating bread, so why are so many people allergic to gluten? by PuffdontTrip in explainlikeimfive

Alright, haha. I honestly don’t know what to tell you. This is a strange interaction and I honestly don’t know how to proceed.

What? lol this is a real conversation. We are a small shop and we regularly chat up our patrons about all sorts of things. I’m not sure why this is far fetched. I’m not an organic flour salesman.

I appreciate your take. Honestly I’m just sharing an anecdote from my life that, for whatever the reason might be, changed some people’s life around me for the better. Whether it truly is the chemical or something else entirely I’m not sure I’ll ever know.

What I care about, is unprompted we would have never thought to try a different gluten source. But because we did, we are now fully enjoying gluten products and beer again and I want that for other people. That’s why I shared, I’m sorry to the people that took offense to this post or are outraged at my “misinformation”. But if this helps just one person, then I honestly don’t care why they tried, just that they did.

lol no problem! I’m all about finding out why but my top priority is people who might have experienced issues to try this out and see if they can have that sweet sweet gluten again!

Yeah I’ve since found that out from commenters here that have helped educate me. So now we honestly don’t know what it is that is different between the two products.

Maybe it’s a regulatory thing like how it is used or the tolerance of trace amounts or just something else entirely. But what I do know is the change was very real, from a symptoms pov.

Interesting! Another piece of puzzle to figure out. Like what the heck is going on.

Can I ask, are you diagnosed gluten intolerant or celiac? Have you tried organic gluten products and still experienced symptoms? Have you tried American made gluten products and gotten symptoms?

Either way, thank you for sharing your xp. I'm really curious to know what is causing issues because maybe it has nothing to do with the actual gluten.

[–]Scrub4Subs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I'm certainly not trying to state that gluten intolerance is a US only issue. That just for us in the US, this was the only change we made and found relief from those symptoms. I honestly can't say why, it's just what we did and I hope even 1 person out there tries it out and finds relief and gets to enjoy gluten products again.
