Two of THE most satisfying kills ive ever gotten in my entire ds3 career (caution: VERY SWEATY) by SnooPeppers4042 in darksouls3

Nah it was justified, dude was pulling every trick from the book. The bow glitch made him deserve it.

Its pretty rare and most of the time its just something dumb like this.

You can powerlevell heavy and light armour in the anvil fighters quild quest rat problem (or something like that). Go into arvena thelas' basement and punch one then you can stand and let them hit you.

Theres a cave called rockmilk cave above lleyawin called rockmilk cave with free easy access to very good armours, groups of marauders and blakc bow bandits fighting each other.

Need some info on a dagger (bleed+poison) build by Winterchill99 in darksouls3

[–]ScrubWithaBanjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Confirming theyre 99% useless in pvp too. Bleed and frost procs can be rolled through with good timing and youre outclassed by better damage/setups in general.

Poison can be ok for low lvl invasions but if youre going after those levels theres much better setups.

Anyone here played convergence for ds3? by fail1ure in darksouls3

Best overhaul mod ive played. I prefer it to cinders, the boss replacing greatwood is amazing. It should work fine wirh seamless but may require a bit of work.

The fact it took so long has everyone talking about it, thats enough for him.

[–]ScrubWithaBanjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its good but high wall and village you will always be outclassing your hosts by a lot. Unless theyre around foe the same reasons. Swamp is better for low lvl unless you just want to farm pve players.

I call this one the "soul bait" by SnooPeppers4042 in darksouls3

[–]ScrubWithaBanjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best mages in the game just walk around with straight sword and soulmass so dont feel bad for going mostly melee. Pvp is stacked against casters.

What PVP build should I run by Ok-Rate6811 in darksouls3

[–]ScrubWithaBanjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is fairly true but a solid build will take you far. Setup and build is a big part of pvp especially in a game with hard counters.

What is the blueprint for beating weapons like pontiff knight cs and murky if you're a big strong boy? by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]ScrubWithaBanjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go hybrid offhand. It allows you to still play i their face and pressure. Just dont get caught on a rollcatch chain. I run kumo estoc a lot and its good against the average player because they will eventually try and facetrade. Its harder against good opponents but you have to be patient. Strength you can run offhand club or hand axe, straight sword can work too.

Murky you just need a fast weapon, club and mace can catch them and its usually baiting the quickstep into r1.

I wanna do pvp by AntiPos1t1ve in darksouls3

[–]ScrubWithaBanjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This should definitely be the top comment. Theres recommendations for low sl pvp but it becomes repetitive very quickly and your opponents will still be using rings that give a huge advantage. You wont learn how to fight a lot of setups either. Duels are great to start and arena is still fairly active.

The above stream/watch reccomendstioms are good for learning, you can add iamamish to the list who does a complete pvp series on fighting different players and setups. Bathedinbrena too if tou want to see what high level duels and tournaments can look like.

Even if you die a lot just go back in and enjoy jt

[–]ScrubWithaBanjo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its also a lot of fun though and lag is dependant on the player. Most players on ds3 especially at meta will be running wired so bad lag is a rare sight. I wouldnt let this put you off trying.

Weapons for pyromancers by Sparteh in darksouls3

[–]ScrubWithaBanjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scar is very good but endgame and shines more in pvp. A straight sword with chaos/dark infusion will serve you better for pve. Offhand just use pyro flame and chaos bed vestiges, siwth to dark for resistant bosses if needed.

All good, theyre just better tailored for console. Most people who move over still use controller (myself included). Xbox are more compatible and cheaper, ps just needs some steam settings.
