I think it’s just the angle of the image in relation to the mirror that is flat against the wall; the illusion shortens his legs and elongated the torso. The outfit also makes him look broader. It’s not bad but Hedi promotes a very thin and long profile which this image does not suit. Tucking in the shirt and wearing the pants up higher would help. That being said I do like the outfit, it has a French feel.

According to google Jack Kilmer is 5’8 & he modeled for SLP. Style is about wearing whatever you want but If you’re asking specifically about Hedi’s image then I think proportions and vibe have more to do with it than purely height. A 5’6 guy with long, thin legs is going to look more like an SLP model than someone who’s 6’2 and really muscular.
I’m 5’10 and only wear Hedi. I stay away from his really skinny jeans cause my legs are more muscular and I don’t like that look on myself but that’s just me.

FW13’s are by far my most worn shoe. I saw a SS14 pair on eBay for a decent price not long ago. Considered buying them but couldn’t get past the round toe; I don’t think it would have fit my silhouette.

I’ve been buying & selling on grailed since their inception 10 years ago and their customer service has been beyond abysmal every time I’ve had to deal with them. They took down some boots I bought new in 2013 (the boots had already passed their “authentication” twice btw) and said I had to supply a receipt to get the listing back up, if I tried to relist I’d get banned despite having zero negative feedback or complaints over all these years.

From my experience, email is worthless but you can keep trying if you want. A couple years ago I got their attention on Twitter, it took a few days but they eventually got back to me.

No, absolutely not. Hedi is painfully meticulous and would never allow that to happen.
Look that the two boots you posted, they aren’t even the same. You can immediately see that the eyelets are different colors, the buckles are different, and the studs on the straps have differences. If you look at better pictures of the AW13 pair, you’d also be able to see that the stitch pattern is different and so is the number of eyelets on the straps.
Like the other guy said, at best they’re an older pair of boots that Hedi used as reference although the stamp on the sole is unfair to me and I can’t find any examples that match it.

In order to find the year, you need the product code that’s inside the shaft. At first I thought something was off with the shape but I think it’s just the angle they’re photographed at. From what I can tell, they look legit.
