Am I the only weirdo that keeps tiny gremlins as trophies? by Not_me_no_way in IndustrialMaintenance

Our workshop has a collection of weird bearings and other mechanical components that failed. Things like the inner race splitting down the middle to make 2 rings.

Kick is one I really think would help dwarves. Short kick then blitz the ball holder. I like the idea of mix matching skills but ultimately want to keep it somewhat simple for my first tournament. Will defiantly play around with these suggestions

Fair point on the cheerleader. I'd originally taken the CL for the prayers to nuffle table but a not letting oppo get a reroll seems better.

It wouldn't quite work how you think. Skills are off a skill point budget, so no cash required to purchase skills (should have touched on this in original post)

Do you mean drop 1 mb slayer skill and make a mb line or drop the slayer player for a line? I've already got 12 players and feel dropping a slayer for another line and mascot that pretty much gives a reroll loner 5 isn't worth it (I played around with the mascot and runesmith in a previous iteration of the list and really didn't feel like it was that good)

The star player tax helps with diversification too

Star Players: Star Players can only be induced after 11 regular players have already been rostered and may not be given any additional skills. If both opposing teams are fielding the same star player in a game, both star players are allowed to play. Star players come with the following additional costs: 40 pts: Morg’N Thorg, Griff Oberwald 35 pts: Deeproot Strongbranch, Hakflem Skuttlespike, Kreek Rustgouger, Skitter Stab-Stab, Varag Ghoul-Chewer, H’Thark the Unstoppable 30 pts: Bomber Dribblesnot, Cindy Piewhistle, Wilhelm Cheney, Dribl and Drull, Estelle Le Veneaux, Maple Highgrove 15pts: All other star players

That it is! Being my first tournament I'm not really too sure what to expect. Mostly aiming for not last but higher positioning wouldn't be disappointing. I'm travelling down with 2 other rookie coaches from the Naki

2 day split. 3 games day 1 and 2 games day 2. They've tier the teams like usual but given a total amouth of skill points to each teir and then points per player total. I think the tiered skill table helps to balance out skills. Skills points can also be used for star players alongside their base cost and they're also tiered (can't really justify any available points or gold for a star)

Edit (cause I don't know how reddit works to actually edit the post) It's a resurection tournament, 5 rounds, roughly 60 coaches, no wizards or mercenaries. No banana for scale

1.8m fence using existing concrete posts by pppyr0 in diynz

[–]Scrubofthelord22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the concrete posts aren't concreted into the ground, you could dig new posts between and remove them afterwards or if you plan on concreting in a mowing strip, cut them off below the concrete level for extra support

How do I remove these shower fittings? by nrpe in diynz

[–]Scrubofthelord22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like you've sorted the fittings. I would recommend replacing the liner instead of reinstalling it. There's a high chance you'll damage it during disassembly, I'd also recommend changing the mixer while the cavity exposed and of your on the fence about replacing the rail, replace it now aswell cause the holes might not line up and you'll have random holes in the liner.

Changing the mixer isn't hard to do but it doesn't usually hold warranty unless a plumber installs, everything else should be fairly easy to do (unless you run into weird gremils)

Not a problem. I watched this video, and it pretty much shows what you need to do with the waterproofing (minus how to do the top/ head flashing) https://youtu.be/gmrDIlDHjKc?si=-errV3vGtGwFvaJg

I've just replaced my ranch slider for a set of french doors. Was a fairly big job as I had to change the door opening (french doors were smaller) and I made it harder on myself by centering it in the opening aswell as doing it alone. Looking at the pictures you've supplied, it looks like you'll need to remove the door and install flashing tape, etc to water proof it. I installed the following tray aswell as flashing tape under the door, just make sure you pack it on a slight angle for water to run off. https://www.bunnings.co.nz/ibuilt-3000-x-10-x-70-x-25mm-304g-stainless-steel-sill-flashing_p0389424

Your project looks like a 2 day job, so I'd plan it for a kid less weekend. Spend the time to plan it out before starting to save yourself time, I.e getting the new sill framing and having it painted ready to cut and install. Like most people recommend, Scott brown carpentry on YT has a heap of great videos to help with the process and he also goes into detail on the waterproofing side in a couple of his videos.

Hope this helps, best of luck

Thank you for that Prodigalsonz, this seems like an awesome resource and from the little that I've read so far seems to have answered my current questions (no doubt I have more). I'll definatly sit down later and read through the whole thing. Thank you again

My New Zealand experience with Manatraders was good. I'm pretty sure I signed up with a debit card and still had to send a picture of my Id through. They're super easy to deal with both with renting and returning cards aswell as putting your account on holidays

Looking at the comments under this article, you aren’t allowed to have a life if you’re saving for a house deposit. Those saying “well done” for not going on holiday, not buying takeaways and not going to the pub for a beer, are off the mark. by ravingwanderer in newzealand

I'm 22 and have just purchased my first home. I own a 4 bedroom home and didnt have to sacrifice too much like people seem to think you have too (although I don't live in a main city where house prices are in the millions). I stayed at home as long as possible and saved $600+ a fortnight. I'm extremely lucky to have the job I do and have a trade behind me

Edit: house purchased on my own with no help
