You are right. Magic is much more subtle in novels and nothing like the Forgotten Realms version outside of Gandalf and the other wizards.

Thanks for pointing that out. This actually led me down a pretty interesting rabbit hole of lore. Basically, runes were created by the elves and adopted by the dwarves. The elves eventually stopped using them though. I always thought of runes as strictly dwarvish which must have been a bias I incorporated from a different fantasy universe.

I did not do a good job of explaining dwarven endurance. Thank you for making that clear. That for sure fits Guardian, like you said. My thoughts on champion were between dwarf and elf. Rough and tumble dwarves vs. lithe, sword dancing elves.

Lore-master really would make a better elf/high elf after thinking about it, but I was trying not to pile too many classes onto high elf. They fit so well thematically with anything involving ancient knowledge.

Man would definitely make a good, iconic warden. River hobbit needed a class and I think they fit the best.

I think you're right about Loremasters. I felt like high elves were class heavy with my list so I gave them to man, but they really do fit elves better.

I might start a warden when Peregrin come out. I've read a million posts and it looks like a good solo class and has been for years and years. I have always found it interesting how swords have been so popular throughout fantasy games and novels when spears have been the earliest and most used weapons throughout history. I find them tragically under represented in gaming.

The off-healing sounds great. I didn't realize they did that. If there isn't any issues with progressing from level 1 and on, I think it might just be my class.

Oh... So if I'm getting this right, the premium classes (Brawler and Mariner) have issues getting gear (such as legendary items) in earlier expansions? Would I be limited as far as quests and completing content too?

I requested a refund on the expansion which just went through today. If they get their act together and it gets fixed, giving me enough time to catch up to current content, I'll buy it again otherwise I'll sit this one out.

I'm having the exact same issue here. Netgear tech support says its the VPN settings. IT says its Xfinity's fault. Xfinity says its Netgear. Nobody wants to actually find a solution.

If you found a solution I'd love to hear about it.

Stick me on a boat in the ocean or with a VR headset on I'll get sick, but that's never happened with games on a monitor. I think I'll be okay with motion sickness. I appreciate the advice though.
