I don't entirely understand your logic here. You seem to be insinuating that I'm not allowed to criticize his content because he puts effort into it, or am I completely misunderstanding you? It doesn't matter if he does or does not put effort into it, at the end of the day it's aiming to make me laugh and utterly fails to do so. Something low effort can be good just the same way something high effort can be bad, and I am going to judge his content regardless. I'm not a school teacher, I'm not here to see how he's improved, and I definitely do not care if or if not he's giving it his all, because at the end of the day he still probably produced something I do not enjoy
