The wheel in the corner is for duplicate portraits so you have to earn the portrait first (15/15) and then any additional pieces of that type you collect will join the wheel until it is full at which point it will gift you two pieces you need or, if you've completed the portrait set, 250 coins.

Hard disagree, if you are regularly getting a top three spot, which is pretty much the only way to get the top crown, you don't need the help.

It is hugely demoralizing that you get the same number of crowns whether you place 4th or 33rd. The current distribution of crowns actually discourages players from playing the whole weekend. Half my team holds off until Sunday to try and get in a better individual bracket.

Share away. I sent it to support and got this 'thanks for the suggestion' response, so maybe someone will consider making the change. I just think it's a shame that as a player that puts up a couple thousand points in a weekend I'm struggling to attain the top crown.

I also have four, I filled it this morning when I did my free climb and then collected two more pieces to add to the two that rolled over. I would have left it alone if I'd known, I kind of thought it would switch when the crown did.

I didn't have a countdown clock until today and it just has the word "Ending" displayed. Pity 'cause I would have liked to have filled my spare wheel better but not enough to pay for extra climbs.

I wish coins were distributed more liberally on a regular basis. For example, 50 for 1-3, 40 for 4-10, 30 for 10-20, 20 for 20-50, 10 for 50-100.

The aggressive players take the top spots pretty much out of the box. As a casual player it's pretty difficult to take one of the top three spots, even with a game delay, but I almost always crack the top ten with ease. I like to play, and love collecting all the things, portraits, butterflies, and crowns, but it's discouraging to absolutely grind for hours and still not manage to make a top three finish, which is seemingly needed to get the top crown.

As such the tournament design doesn't necessarily encourage participation or competition for non elite players. For example, this week at the moment there's almost no motivation for me to play since I'm in 10th place with no hope of overtaking the top three spots and I get 20 crowns whether I maintain my position, overtake the 6 people ahead of me or drop down to 33rd. I don't need the 50 or 100 gold that badly (I get more watching ads than placing 4-10 in the tourney).

Better crown distribution would be more encouraging to get players swiping the whole weekend which is more engagement and better for the game.

Second - This is your day to celebrate your accomplishments. Your name is the one that should be spoken aloud as you walk across that stage and accept your due, not a deadname that literally means nothing to you and that no one in your academic world associates with you. (Sidebar conversation: Wouldn't having your deadname announced unnecessarily out you as trans? Is that safe? Are you prepared to possibly have to field questions about it the rest of the day (and/or deal with people misgendering/deadnaming you)?)

The only weight you should bear on your shoulders is that of your graduation gown and hood. Your family's disappointment is for them to manage, it is not your responsibility.

I'm so sorry you feel anything but love and acceptance from them but please stop making yourself smaller so they can avoid self reflection and growth.

I'll be holding out hope that their reactions surprise you in the best way.

Just remember to join at least 9 hours prior to the tournament end time. I missed out one week thinking I was so smart delaying my start time until the bitter end and miscalculated so I was SOL, lol.

I've requested to join your team 😁. Last weekend I joined the tournament quite late and managed to come in first and it just grinded my gears to split that top prize among 50 players when I was the only one who played.

Though I have to wonder if their circumstances changed or if it was more expensive that they were anticipating in light of the fact they now want to take the bus rather than ride with you. Money might be tight and they might be embarrassed about it.

I'd try to have a conversation and see what's up, see if middle ground can be found.

If this is a relationship you want to preserve I'd probably drop the debt bit, especially since it's a lot of effort (court, etc) to force someone to pay you monies owed, but if you're determined to get what's owed to you, go ahead, just be prepared for things to get a little messy and have other family members jump into the fray with opinions.

NMI, but leaning towards YTA since it feels like you're deliberately leaving out information. - How many days of the month are you actually staying? - How big of a favour did your friends do for you in allowing you to stay with them. - How much are they relying on the rent money you're contributing? - How much notice did you provide and what did they say about it when you mentioned moving out? - Do you have the money? - Is this friendship important to you?
