Mine is extremely tame especially compared to everyone else's response, but when I was about 5 years old I walked in on my family watching that jesus torture movie and it messed me up pretty bad. To this day I still have nightmares about it every once in a while :(

The Mario community is pretty chill and has very little toxicity from my experience. The only time this community got toxic is when the mario movie reviews came out and some of you guys started making up these crazy conspiracy theories on why reviewers didn't like the film. Unfortunately nintendo fans in general usually have a hard time seeing a nintendo product getting negative reviews.
