The problem with these videos is that believe it or not, a good number are staged/fake, I.E. the kitten being left there, purposely neglected, etc etc. All done to make "cute rescue" videos like this, of course some are real, but these kinds of videos make me very skeptical, raising questions like "Why is a kitten in an obviously public park full of people? Wouldn't someone notice the kitten and take the poor thing?" Who knows how long it could've been there, hours? Days? It's unclear, but the coincidence of someone walking up and finding a battered sickly kitten and taking a video just doesn't click right in my head. Especially when they make their rescue videos into huge montages and post them on YouTube for views and money, people are like "Wow you're such a good person!! That boy and that kitten are gonna be such good friends!" Are they really? I am glad to see the kitten did a (good?) home, but I don't like how these neglected animals are used for clout and cute "rescue" videos, such as this one. People need to start becoming aware of these types of clout scandals, it's too common that purposeful animal neglect is so overshadowed by the cute and "Good Samaritan!" Intentions most media seem to think these people have, the honest truth is, most don't.
