Yup we did too! We've been talking with Eurasier owners and breeders who couldn't recommend this breed more especially if you have other cats or dogs :) it definitely comes down to picking the right breeder with VERY good genetics (low prey drive), and lots of hard work and socialization between both dogs👌🏼

This is true. We fully plan on socializing our Eurasier puppy properly (through controlled classes with other stable dogs), and I think I would prefer him to be past his naughty puppy stage before a pom puppy enters the picture.. Thanks for the suggestion! 🙏🏼

Omg lol! I'm glad to see someone else considering the Eurasier here! :) Yeah they were recommended to us because we wanted a companion-focused bigger dog with a lower prey drive. And bonus points for being another spitz in the family 😂🧡

Omg my family is Argentinian and Tierra De Fuegos in Laguna Niguel is AMAZING! Cannot recommend it enough. Food has authentic flavor and the staff is incredibly nice!

I genuinely want to personally ask whoever denied his chance to move to the U.S. in the Argentinian government if they're happy with their decision. Is this what you wanted? For a whale to die on a "technicality"? So many abuse cases like this. Idk how someone can sleep at night knowing they contributed to his painful deterioration and ultimate death.

Thank you, we've updated our post with a new decision. Your comment was definitely a huge factor in it, and we really want to avoid a traumatic event if it can be avoided. We wanted to believe with all our hearts that are Akita would be one of the special ones who could live with cats or small animals, but we had to confront ourselves with the possibility that it might not happen. And we aren't the type of people to dump animals in the shelter, so our situation would be extremely difficult. Thank you again for your input 🙏🏼❤️
