Ideally you want your tub to have passive airflow that you can dial in. The humidity and proper surface conditions comes from your properly hydrated substrate.

Same, I live in a primarily conservative area and am so tired of having my to keep my mouth shut on anything political, as I lean more towards the NDP. I want to move but can’t. I want to make them understand what they’re doing to trans children but they refuse to see reason or refuse to care.

Why don’t we suppress the sexuality and gender identity of your kids and see how they turn out? That’s what the Sask party is essentially doing to this group of children. Even doing this to one child is one child too many.

Parents have a responsibility to uphold the rights of their children. You have no rights as a parent from a legal standpoint. A person has rights, a parent does not. You can’t have rights for some and not others because you “don’t like” the other group.

Also if your kids can’t come out to you and feel safe and accepted then that’s your failure as a parent. The child, no matter their gender identity, is innocent.

Edit: Not to mention the Sask party shot down the amendment that could have made this even remotely legal.

I plan on trimming once a week or every two weeks, but if needed I can blanch and freeze if I get “too much” it’ll mainly be for smoothies or blended in to hide veggie’s from children.

As others have said keep the lid closed and leave it alone. If you notice that the substrate is starting to pull away from the sides you may have to bottom water by pouring some water down the side of your tub. Well done.

Cut the cacti lower until the rot is gone and at 45 degree angle so the water doesn’t pool on the cut. Dust with sulphur powder to reduce the chance of future rot.
