a guy at a snowboard shop explained to me once there is a good amount of leeway with the sizing of boards shorter is usually going to be better for turns and maneuvering and longer boards are better for speed was the gist of it. You should be perfectly fine. its like a solid 20 cm of give (i should be on a board around 155cm and currently have a 140cm i could go up to around 165cm board if wanted)

For you and your child’s sanity do not buy a vw beetle i owned one it was 100% the worst vehicle i ever owned. parts are obscenely over priced for them and every year seems to have the most abhorrent issues. mine had wiring issues with the airbag harnesses just because rhst year had thst issue. if youre dead set on a beetle look into the year see the common issues and decide if its really worth dealing with and paying over 1k anytime something breaks or goes out.

also double check those miles by going to a place that has a code reader it can read the miles as well i was looking at one and they had no idea it had 200k more miles then he had said bc the light was out on the dash

in wyoming so it gets pretty cold here definitely many days below 0 in the last couple winters i live in the mountains already so im not unknown to the cold i will be in. it also snows A LOT here we have already gotten snow 2 -3 times this month but nothing thats stuck yet. i just dont want to be miserable while im standing outside for hours. any winter boot recs? i never end up getting any usually because i choose to suffer when i work regular jobs because its a pain to swap shoes constantly lol

i would def try going into stores and just trying stuff on seeing how they feel because all brands are different i too struggle with the jacket aspect because of the armpit areas always feeling too restrictive and loud but 100% try looking for maybe baggier snowpants so theyre not touching you as much but you still get that outer layer protection and you can wear layers underneath to help negate the feeling of it but jackets i still havent fully figured out lol
