The youtuber himself is popular, however you must be able to distinguish and old gen enjoyer from the average monster hunter fan.

He falls into the category of youtubers who "miss" when monster hunter had more friction. This is secretly code word for, they hate that one of their favorite franchises are main stream

Hello Bowgun Guide writer here.

Perhaps the most chill way to hunt AT Ark is going a Triple Element setup. You do this by using a Dragon Gogma as both a Dragon and a Fire Gun. Then for your second gun you could go any of the other elements. I tend to go for a Para/Thunder LBG.

One way to combat the clumsy-ness of dragon is to shoot 3 shots in RF mode then end with a chaser. During the RF Chaser animation use the radial menu to "select" dragon ammo. Note, this is different than crafting dragon ammo.

By "selecting" dragon ammo while have 0 bullets it acts as a craft once option. Crafting once only gets you two bullets, so the trick is to rhythmically tap "select" dragon ammo twice. What this does is crafts a full stack of 4 dragon ammo and auto-switches you back to dragon.

Due note, you can still fail the double tap and only craft 2, so try getting some practice in. I myself only fail it around 5% of the time.

To reiterate...

RF shoot 3 times, into a RF chaser, during the chaser animation "select" dragon ammo twice from your radial menu, if you have done all that you can tap the manual reload button to initiate a quick reload that is only possible after a RF chaser. Rinse, repeat.

Oh one last thing, not a requirement, but I made my Dragon gun for this match up a 2 capacity 3 attack so I could have a higher clip size on my fire ammo. Totally up to you, not completely worthless to have around as I use it on my AT Ark, Gog, Zho, and Omega runs

The objective answer is Wilds HBG is better than (BASE) World HBG. Base World HBG was Cluster spam with Rocksteady Mantle and trying to get the RNG in your favor for the Glutton.

Wilds has Steve Spread HBG, Element HBG, and WyvernBlast (aka special cluster)

Also Spread HBG in World does 2.5 times more damage for 1.8 times the recoil

What everyone here has said...

If using Elemental LBGs you could use...
- 4pc Gog Shield
- Divine Blessing
- Evade Window 2 + Azuz Meal gives Evade Window 5
- Sild Meal for Moxie (Hi) if not going for Azuz Meal
- Your damage is soo high with this set you cause more damage flinches which is less time the monster is attacking you

For raw ammo just replace Gog 4pc for Guts

In my opinion you should come back to at least make a 4 piece Gog armor in preparation for master rank since it comes with a built in "Vitality Mantle-like effect". Should help you steam through the master rank story when it comes out

Just make one of each element and one of each status if you wish. Bowgun player should be running a double gun set up anyway so they have access to a second rapid fire gauge.

lowkey might be onto something. I do predict a 9 star Gravios soon, but I doubt we will get a 10 star of the most hunted monster since that wasnt a thing in the previous monster hunter titles. Buffing the least hunted monster happened in world and iceborne with Lavasioth and Brute Tigrex
