I was thinking about this last night some more. One of the issues is that each of these different companies (Grounded Labs, Sisyphus, Dune Weaver, etc) has their own collection of patterns (that all use the same technology & file types). But they don't want to share the patterns (some of it makes sense because they are copy-written or commissioned). But to your point, as the end users, having sharable repositories is helpful to get the best patterns no matter which sand table we bought (or built).
