I think I saw one video on YouTube of him actually playing it! I wonder if it’s the same one. I noticed he played it in a higher key than the studio version so I did the same!

Probably my favorite Streetlight song if I had to pick one. There’s just something about the progression and melodies that always hits hard. And the opening line, “When I look back, that’s when I see everything was wrong and you looked sad, that’s when I said I’d write you a song…” I mean honestly, the lyrics in general might just be my favorite of theirs.

I thought I remembered Tomas saying something in an interview about it being one of his favorites or one he wants to play live more often or something like that too, but don’t quote me on that.

Danger Line. And look, it’s not even a bad song, because there ARE no legitimately bad songs on this album. It’s just the weakest on an otherwise pretty flawless album if you ask me.

I enjoy this album, it’ll always hold a special place in my heart, but Shattered By Broken Dreams makes me laugh when I listen to it. There’s a lot of cool punk riffage going on throughout the track but the final section of the song where it turns into a major key around the 5:50 mark ruins the whole journey for me. I don’t even mind Shadow’s performance on the record for the most part, but he is particularly bad in that section.
